Ahhhh Summer...How I've missed you!

Guys- my ⬆️7 year old ⬆️is beyond upset over last nights Supergirl. She LOVES Kara Danvers & Lena Luthor. In fact her and her best friend play as the two of them. She can not get over how ‘not nice Kara was being’ and how hurt Lena ‘was because Kara was mean Mommy! They both lied and they both need to say sorry and mean it!’ She also has gone on and on how Kara chose to lie first. That Lena as her best friend, would have been okay if Kara just told her, ‘ Her feelings would have been hurt, but then they could make friends again.’ Seriously, if a 7 year old can figure it out, why the hell cant the writers? Ugh! Have a feeling this is not going to be what I wanted for them... They are shredding every ounce of SuperCorp to pieces.

Disappointed

I guess I shouldn’t be. But I am. Angry at myself for allowing hopefull thoughts,that this year would be different, yet it’s not. I work two jobs, care for the kids, and yet still manage to save for, plan and arrange getaways /cards/ gifts for my spouse, yet they are somehow unable to do the same. It hurts. It shouldn’t. I know better then to expect anything. I don’t do the things I do, just to get something in return. I do them to show I care. Sometimes it would be nice to be on the receiving end too.

Feeling pretty worthless right now.

Rant.

I find it incredibly amazing how far some individuals will go to be assholes. The whole 'picking, backbiting, being shitty to your face and behind your back' but hey, its your fault I'm acting like this, because you're you and I have a different set of views/beliefs/outlooks/child rearing methods and MY way is so much BETTER then yours. Excuse me for expecting my children not to be rude little idiots. For not allowing them to yell and run through the house like wild animals. God forbid they like to actually read books and build with Lego's and aren't always glued to a damn video game controller. (Not hating on gamers, but c'mon, a 8 & 5 year old shouldn't be playing PS3 nonstop) So freaking happy the holidays are over.
