Au where Mikey’s arms disintegrate after opening the portal to save Leo and so during fights he starts using his chains in place of his arms. Like Ming Hua from Legends of Korra!

Ya know. If they aren’t gonna bring back Rise, could we at least get a sequel to the movie!? This time focused on Mikey and Donnie instead of Raph and Leo LIKE ALWAYS!? Ninjago Dragons Rising has its grip on my soul! So I drew Rouge! Aka Jay!
Say what you want, I actually adore the hair. It’s cool!
Cause like, his 2 main villains, Nadakhan and Unigami both had similar hair styles. Jay was a ninja, his messy hair fit who he was and his image of ‘good’. He’s not exactly evil now but he’s also not the person he ever wanted to be. The picture of evil, spesificslly villains targeting him, in his mind both have that hairstyle. I like it because subconsciously Jay decided that if he was going to be evil, he should at least look the part.
There is also something to be said about the fact that Nya has her hair in a ponytail but that’s a whole other peice of symbolism that we don’t need to get into rn
