Passion Pop (Mixed Berry)

it is a ”wine based beverage” that smells like scented erasers and cheap perfume and tasted like the inside of a jelly doughnut, red bull and wine. 

Verdict: A bit gross but when you’ve been dranking you don’t really give a shit

Space Man candy sticks

these candy cigarettes were the taste of my childhood. They are basically white sticks of solid marshmallow tasting candy that you can pretend to 'smoke'. When I was younger they even used to have red tips on them so they looked like lit cigarettes and we would smoke them on cold days when we could see our breath... good times if a little worrying for all the parents. These redesigned ones no longer have the red tips so they're just plain coloured sticks now but the taste has not diminished with their coolness.

Cherry Coca Cola

My first time ever drinking cherry coke as it is not widely available in NZ. At first it tastes like original Coca Cola yet with a faint artificial cherry aftertaste. Similar to cherry lollipops or how cherry scented stationery would taste if you could eat it, kind of plastic-like but in a good way. It is like drinking the dreams of a 12 year old girl. 

Verdict: not entirely unpleasant but it won't be a regular purchase for me.

Oreos- blueberry ice cream flavour

unusual but relatively appealing. The chocolate biscuit is of course delicious but the purple 'blueberry icecream' flavour is a bit odd. It doesn't really taste like blueberries or ice cream, more of a strange amalgamation of plain icing, bubblegum and with a hint of mint.

Peanut butter M&Ms

got these from an awesome friend who went overseas earlier this year. The peanut butter to chocolate ratio is pretty much perfect, not too salty and not too sweet. And IT IS SO COLOURFUL -CANDY IS AMAZING BUT WE HAVE RUN OUT OF IT. Some people say that there is a taste difference between the colours but i say nay- there is not. They all taste the same but in the most delicious way.

peanut butter M&Ms are moreish. we need more of them. NOW.

Milk Duds

We just ate Milk Duds for the first time while watching British stand up comedy on DVD. Twas lovely. One can buy them at some stores in New Zealand but they can be hard to find. At first I thought that Milk Duds would be like Milk Bottles - you know kind of vanilla milk flavour and a bit weird but they were actually really nice. Essentially they are just lumps of caramel covered in chocolate but they were pretty good nonetheless. Especially when you eat them with popcorn, we understand that people in the States mix the two together when they go to the movies, turns out that they have the right idea - a good mix of salty and sweet.

Verdict: Milk Duds are a bit of alright :)
