Tattoo (Calum)

Requested? Yes Summary: You have a tattoo of your exes name and he gets jealous.

A/N - This is not very long, but I wanted to write something since I haven’t posted in a while, and I’m going to be away at a festival for the next few days.

A name; permanently inked into your skin where his hands once lay, but new ones now roamed – hands that were more gentle and loving, a softer touch accompanied by a more loving smile. 

A mistake; made when you were young and naïve and thought that first loves last forever.

A fleeting glance and halted movements every time he saw the name; the name of another man who you once loved, but who you loved no more. And yet still, a seed of doubt had been planted in his mind, and that seed grew into a shoot, and that shoot soon fully bloomed, with worry and jealousy consuming his mind. “I love you, Calum. I love you more than I ever loved him.” You do your best to reassure him with loving kisses and honest words, but you still see the moments of doubt when he sees the ink on your skin; the questioning of your love for him, because surely you must have loved him more if you were willing to permanently stain your skin with his name? Your heart seems to shatter more day by day, with each wounded look across his face, and you’ve wracked your brains for some solution, but you come up with only one. And so, after a day out filled with hours of pain concentrated on that one little word, you return home to reveal to Calum that your tattoo is a little more faded, and a little closer to being just a memory. “You didn’t have to do that for me,” he tells you, running his fingertips gently across your sore skin, and yet you see the way that his eyes brighten and his face lights up, as if he is finally convinced of your love for him; because the loving kisses and honest words may have made him feel better, but this was his proof that there was nobody else in the world who could have your heart in the way that you had his.

Hey guys! I just wanted to say sorry for not posting I'm a while; I've been busy with NCS for the last few weeks, and this week I've kind of not had the motivation to do anything at all really... Tomorrow is results day for GCSEs (good luck to anyone else who's getting theirs too) and I also have an induction for my new job (yay) so I won't have chance to post then, but I'll do my best to post sometime this weekend :)

I was singing if you don’t know in a bathroom stall at Walmart once thinking no one else was in there and then I hear another person start singing with me. It was a middle aged lady, I’m not exactly sure how she knew who 5sos is or the song but it was a great connecting moment with my elders.

shout out to all the people who never have money for meet and greet tickets and can’t afford to do a vip ticket once, let alone twice or three times. shout out to the people who barely afford the concert ticket in the first place. shout out to the people who can’t go to the concert at all because they can’t afford it. shout out to the people who are afraid they aren’t going to get to meet the people behind the music that means so much to them. y’all are important as fuck and if i could i’d buy you all the concert tickets you ever wanted.
