I'm late for fandoms. Terribly late. I stroll into the quiet solitude of a fandom 10 years late and just frolick through the abundance of good fanfic I find. (Lovely writers, your works from ages or decades ago will fill someones dull daily grind with joy. JOY!!!!)

I can promise irregular posts and I might abandon this thing at some point, I'm inconsistent like that

Yep, they fired a bunch. Among them all of the visdev team of Marvel, Wesley Burt being one of them. The VisDevs, you know. The people who develop the visuals. The artists.

And I haven't looked for sources but rumor is among the reasons was something along the lines of 'we want more tech savy workforce' and 'more freelancers'. I agree with the internet here: translates to 'we are gonna use AI and where we need new content for the Machine we are gonna hire folks without the benefits of full-time employement and with clauses in the contracts and then use their stuff to train the models'.

I'm really mad about this.

My love for you all fandom creators stays untouched by this, bc I'm a fandom-fan first, not a Marvel fan. So switching my interest and fandom and getting the brain to obsess about some other media is not difficult.

It depends.

My pfp shows Jon Bernthal from an interview shot. If Mr. Bernthal was present I would be absolutely delighted, gush at him very enthusiastically, offer him a nice cup of Earl Grey and a seat and then I would start asking him about his most interesting acting experiences (tough roles, interesting experiences and preparations and the such).

Now, I do mostly know Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher. If Mr. Castle was present I would be absolutely delighted, gush at him very enthusiastically, offer him a nice cup of Earl Grey and a seat and then I would start asking him everything he knows about weapons. (... I might ask Mr. Bernthal the same.)

Testing color schemes for the current work in progress. The whole thing is way too much fun and I'm still learning a lot which is why I'm taking my time with it - despite it already being over a month since I started working on it! Always new problems to solve and some things take a few days away from the tablet with my mind on other things to click into place.

Tinkering on a couple of amazing ideas at the moment. This one with Captain Wilson! Sam's suits are a joy to work on, no matter the iteration. I have another W.I.P where I took parts of his armor for ... well, you will see.

I'm so excited for this drawing because it's once more a moment in a fanfic I really enjoyed and kept grinning about. Stay tuned.

Some days the paint applies itself and some days you fiddle around with the undefined blobs in the background to no avail.

I will see how the blobs feel about parleying tomorrow. Else, I might just let the painting rest for a few days and look at it from afar from time to time. Usually helps.
