This post legitimately knocked me out of a doomscroll. Had to put down my phone and everything and stare at a wall.

I really do regret my inaction the most. Every time. All of my future problems are always caused by things I failed to do in the present. And every time, I get so mad at past Me for not even trying because I’m so afraid to fail.

Learning what your faults are is important. We all have capacity for good. Just don’t let past mistakes turn into shame. Shame is not a good long term motivator. Celebrate all your efforts and accomplishments no matter how seemingly small, and never give up hope.

I think the fast paced society we live in currently has brainwashed me into thinking i can upgrade myself and my life just as fast as when i restart my computer or phone. I have forgotten the natural cycles of life… how the moon takes her time to be full or how the crops take their time to grow their fruits.
