I'm so over the narrative of (main character) girls needing to reject their femininity/commonly female-coded habits in order to appear tough and strong. This should have died 20 years ago, at least.

You can wear a dress and still kick ass.

You can be into make-up and pride yourself in your looks and still be kind and hard-working.

You can like cutesie things and still be badass.

There is literally no need for the 'ugh I need to wear a dress' scenes in movies/books/comics.
