So for the people on different time zones, how do you deal with prompts if they're on a first come first serve basis? Like if someone picks a prompt and it's like, someone elses sleep time, how do they know who gets the promps?
Hey anon, thatās a great question! While prompts are claimed by authors on a first-come-first-serve basis, we do have a 24 hour wait period to allow everyone from different time zones to have a fair shot at all prompts. Basically, if someoneās interested in a prompt, theyāll post a screenshot of the prompt in our group chat, after which they need to wait 24 hours before itās officially theirs. If someone else is also interested in that same prompt, theyāll have 24 hours to express their interest, and in that case the authors involved will get to discuss who gets it, and sometimes theyāll even decide to collab on it. Because we get so many prompts, this is rarely a problem, but it has happened before ^^

We are looking for active writers, those with the ability to commit time (preferably posting at least once every 2-3 weeks) to the blog. Weāre also looking for writers who are flexible with what they write. Willingness to write maknaeline ships would be preferred but not compulsory, and the same goes for smut writing! Each application will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

1) How youād like to be addressed, including pronouns!
2) How long youāve been writing (for Got7 and in general). If you havenāt published fic for Got7 before, please do write a >300w drabble/oneshot for Got7 and submit the link :)

4) If youāre willing or not to write smut.
5) Ā Anything you are not willing to write.
6) A link to 1 or 2 of what you think is/are your best fic(s).
7) How much time you think youāll be able to commit/how active you will be. We are really looking for writers who will be consistently active, so please be honest with your ability to commit.

Hey there! Thanks for checking in on us, sorry weāve been pretty inactive lately. Personally, Iāve been so busy with starting my first year of college I honestly didnāt have time for anything so Iām totally behind on anything and everything. To be quite honest, what happened with Jonghyun hit me really hard. I was never a shawol, but I was a huge fan of Jonghyun both as a person and especially as a musician. The day I found out about his death I was supposed to be studying for my 3 finals the next day but mostly ended up crying the whole dayā¦ But Iām better now, and Iām glad heās in a better place. I spent a lot of time this break reconsidering my career choices lol, which was soo much fun to talk to my parents aboutā¦ Guess I canāt be a kpop star then! Iām far from a hardcore Shawol, but Iāve been at least a casual fan of Shinee for years, and even now it doesnāt really feel real. Unfortunately, we donāt currently do anything like that. We originally created this sideblog to be more interactive with our readers beyond prompt fills (and to keep our main blog inbox full of prompts only), so we have done fic recs in the past, which is probably the closest thing to what youāre suggesting.Ā
But frankly, we just donāt have time to keep up with something like that on a regular basis, and it falls beyond the scope of 7ficsā purpose as a blog ^^;; All fic recs weāve done in the past have been initiated by individual writers, since as a whole we just focus on filling prompts that we receive. We donāt really keep up with or discuss got7 fics as a collective group, though most if not all of us do read fic on our own time.
Maybe check out got7ficrec? We arenāt affiliated with them, but they seem to be an active got7 fic rec blog that might be able to help you out!

Yes, that is totally fine! If it helps save space, you can simply number your messages by specifying the first one as 1 of 2 and the second one as 2 of 2.
