I know you haven't posted in 8 months, but like two years ago you wrote that the Cunningham-Cole clan got into a car accident for Whumptober, and I know it was two years ago, but what are the chances of a part 2? 💀

Shiv and I (Ev) broke up in Jan 24, and we have nothing to do with each other now. FaoFinn is a part of their life they've moved on from and won't be returning to. They still live in the fics we posted, but we won't be making any more for the foreseeable future - there's more chance of a shark attack in a landlocked country.

I'm not sure if they're posting their own stuff at @7thchevronlocked

I will be restarting my own ocs at @evadenly soon.

I don’t have access to the @faofinn blog anymore, so a reblog will have to do.

I really enjoyed my time with Ev and the Blackwood/Daniels/Cunningham-Cole clan, and getting to share it with everyone. As Ev said above, we broke up in Jan 24 and since then we haven’t spoken. Our relationship was great but it started to not work and as a result we went our separate ways.

I don’t regret a single thing, and I’m glad we got to share our writing with people who enjoyed it!

I do still post my own stuff here on tumblr but moreso on AO3 (under the same @). I post less OC focused stuff now and lean predominantly more fandom there now.

I love the stories I wrote with Ev and the characters we built, and all of the work still exists on that blog for those that want to read it.

That’s us officially drawing a line under it, though.

But I just read a pretty good fic published in 2014-2015 (you know, roughly TEN YEARS AGO) and I was like, damn this is so cool, I have to leave a comment, even if you know, they probably wont see it...

Important heads up to younger or newer fans: AO3 sends comments and kudos digests to e-mail addresses. We don't have to check an AO3-specific inbox nor look at specific fics to see comments. I can log out of AO3 tomorrow and ten or twenty years from now I will still get e-mails from AO3 containing comments -- and once I've read it, well, it's not difficult to log back in and reply.

This is also why leaving mean or negative comments is rude and the rule of fandom (although it's a rule much older than AO3, since most/all old fanfic sites did this - livejournal not being a site meant for fics) is "Don't Like? Don't Read".

An AO3 comment is not a review.

It's fanmail.

It is a letter you are sending directly to the author, which happens to also - if the author approves it - go up under the story. You are sending a letter directly to the author.
