Also yes I have a landoscar au idea with this but it’s like less than a page long bc I have about 10 on the go atm (Lando’s a student visiting aus for the summer n staying with Oscar cause he has a spare room he’s renting out)

he had to sit out FP1, got the upgrades later just to “compare data” whatever the fuck that means, had virtually no time to test them and get the set up right, his quali was ruined, his race was ruined by his teammate who thinks he’s owed the world, by team strategy and because some people cannot drive and they couldn’t even give him a functioning car. Hungary gp is making me so mad actually. I’m not gonna quote anything but I’m just gonna say what I think as an op81 fan, and from what I’ve seen on this app.

yes no shit Lando is the favoured driver. We expect it. He was basically kidnapped as a child, so it’s not his fault he is defo favoured. It’s the way he acts sometimes tho, like esp seen yesterday when he’s bitching that he’s faster even tho osc overtook him?? I’m like ok overtake Oscar then or can’t you?? Admittedly I didn’t watch the race because I’m in a hate fuelled spiral but like I do know what happened. McLaren always seem to give Oscar a shittier time- and like respect to Oscar for putting up with it icl. I’m still furious over Singapore last year, and yesterday when he should have won and everyone knows it he still celebrated his teammate’s win bc he’s a good fucking sport and person. I’m biased as hell but Oscar is definitely a better driver than Lando, istg. And didn’t Andrea admit that the car was basically favoured for lando a few weeks ago?? Oscar still managed to overtake him on the first lap

Second- Max deserved the championship last year. He would have, too, if both McLaren and the FiA were fair (again, I can’t prove that they weren’t, I’m just saying that’s what it looks like).

I’m trying not to disrespect anyone apart from McLaren and the fia here and I know I don’t have any like “evidence”? I’m just ranting what I think and what it looks like to me (again, I am biased and I do acknowledge that). No one come for me pls I’m just trying to explain my feelings here and I do like Lando he just pisses me off when he’s driving and acting like a spoiled brat.

Hilarious how 4s love to scream about "Oscar Give-Me-The-Place-astri" because he asked to swap one time during one race, but the SECOND Norris gets behind his teammate you can start a timer as to how long it'll be before he's on the radio whining about how he's faster so he deserves pit priority and preferential strategy and team orders.

commentators acting like they’re lando’s lawyers laying out a case for why mclaren should let him through when last year at suzuka they said the team shouldn’t let oscar through despite him being clearly quicker because it’d be too contrived 🙂

(by the way that’s one of the only examples of oscar being asked to let through because usually when he’s faster he just overtakes lando because he actually knows how to race)
