Always apply make-up in natural lighting. This will not only allow you to see how you are applying your concealer, eye-shadow, lipstick etc. BUT you will be able to see when your foundation, concealer or highlighter is well blended into the skin. This will prevent you from going out looking like...
What is Architecture?
yum ackee!
Jamaica is blessed with a diverse architecture due to the many people who have made the island their home. Just about any of the island’s fourteen parishes have architectural remains of its past inhabitants starting with the Spaniards. Overall, the architecture of Jamaica is a combination of various styles.
All major towns have buildings showing the rich Spanish and English heritage of the island. History buffs will be enthralled by the many that are still standing and in use as businesses, government offices and even private residences.
Spanish Town is home to an early cast iron bridge erected in 1801 at a cost of £4,000.[2] Its four arched ribs are supported on massive masonry abutments spanning the length of the Rio Cobre. After the abutments deteriorated, endangering the structure, it was listed in the 1998 World Monuments Watch and a restoration project began in 2004. A first phase of restoration was completed in April 2010, when the repair of the abutments allowed the bridge to be reopened for the public.

What is Georgian Architecture?
It married the elegance of Georgian styling with functional features designed to weather Jamaica's tropical climate.
Identifying features (1700 – c.1780):
A simple 1–2 story box, 2 rooms deep, using strict symmetry arrangements
Panel front door centered, topped with rectangular windows (in door or as a transom) and capped with an elaborate crown supported by decorative pilasters
Cornice embellished with decorative moldings, usually dentilwork
Multi-pane windows are never paired, and fenestrations are arranged symmetrically (whether vertical or horizontal), usually 5 across
An example of Victorian Architecture. The style often included interpretations and eclectic revivals of historic styles mixed with the introduction of middle east and Asian influences.
The coolest sunset I have ever seen. We were high up on a volcano, inside of a cloud, when sunset happened.
What these buildings have in common is that each one has been remodeled to perform a functional service in modern Jamaican Society, as well as to serve as a reminder of things past.
These are examples of different Georgian style building being revamped for a functional purpose. We can identify the Georgian Style by the crowning, the double windows, balustrade, use of bricks and the fact it has two storeys. Each photo does not have all the elements present but utilize two or more.
