First, I have watched the news like everyone else. Second, my heart broke! If you don’t know me, I always celebrate people from all backgrounds. The reason why I love to celebrate WW2 or military history in general, is because of the of stories that change humanity. And they so so many. From a German soldier helping a Jewish man to hide, to an Egyptian man hiding children, to black men protecting their white brothers in the B17, to a German soldier coming to the aid of a wounded american and dies from a german mine blast, to the 11 black soldiers helped by locals to hide until they were found and tortured by some Germans soldiers. To the first woman british soldier/spy who lost her life for freedom...The millions of stories go on and on! This is what I wanna celebrate! The history, the stories of humanity and the true heroism in people! Being selfless and so brave! Because, I always believe in the good in people! So I won’t stand for racism, discrimination, sexism or else. I have seen it, I have lived it (trust me I did) and I’m against it! I’m for love and respect of all! Period! First off, bravo! Your work is wonderful. Secondly, any plans in the works for the 1st Cavalry Division? They were instrumental in the liberation of the Philippines during World War II but most folks think of Air CAV from Vietnam or Abrams tanks today. Thank you!
