Deep-and-mysterious atmospheres catapult to uplifting-and-funky peaks, dark-and-brooding moments shift to gentle-and-life-affirming throbs all with the greatest of ease, and set in an unmistakable Earthspace style. Taking the album title from the latin expression 'In Medias Res' (meaning : 'in the midst of things' or 'into the middle of things'), and using it as a partial explanation for the process of which he stopped and started the creation of the album over the last few unsteady years, 'In Medias Res' shows an artist that is not scared to take risks during a time when music is so formulaic. Deep psychedelia is peppered with other worldly melodies, while hip-hop and reggae vocals dart over infectious grooves, not to mention the haunting beauty of the closing title track that features live recorded instruments drifting over a Dub groove. Included in the album is one collaboration (with the maestro Martian Arts) plus a remix of a legendary Man Made Man track for some extra spice. Few years later we saw our music being played by some our favourite artists in the scene in some of the biggest events of electronic music around the world. The feeling we got was simply unexpected and priceless. During the pandemic, although all of our gigs got cancelled and we found our shelfs in deep shit, we didn’t give up on making music. After all this hard work in the shadows, we have the honour to present to all of you something really special that we’ve been cooking for the past years, our debut album called “Pendulum”. The Pendulum symbolises many things to us: the tempo, time, heartbeat, life, death and its purpose to hypnotise those who follow its movement.We found ourselves in a deep cavern isolated by the rest of the world, exploring the unexplored.
