Everything has hikmah behind it. Sometimes the things that break us, delay us, or confuse us are actually part of Allah’s protection, guidance, or preparation for something better. We may not understand it now, but Allah sees the full picture while we only see a small part of it. That’s why we trust Him — because even painful things can carry hidden mercy.
Sufyān ath-Thawrī (رحمه الله) said:
“Let your companion be the one who makes you abstain from the world and increases your desire for the Hereafter. Beware of sitting with the people of the dunya who immerse themselves in worldly talk, for they corrupt your religion and your heart.”
Ḥilyat al-Awliyā: 7/82
And they ask you about your love for seclusion, say it is a relief from backbiting, an escape from gossip, and a means to ward off the sins of the tongue, and a mercy that keeps me away from " he said, she said " ... "
Progress isn’t always linear. You’ll have good days and bad days. Keep going. You won’t always feel like this.
'Umar bin al-Khattab رضي الله عنه said:
"Learn the Arabic language, it will produce intellect and increase you in respectable behaviour."
[Shu'ab al-Iman of al-Bayhaqi, 1551]
“One of the most harmful things for a person is idleness and free time. The soul never stays empty—if you do not occupy it with what benefits it, it will occupy you with what harms you—inevitably.”
And if Allah, in His wisdom, closes one of His paths before you, He opens for you by His mercy another path more beneficial than it. The Lord, Glorified be He, never withholds from His believing servant anything of this world except that He grants him something better and more useful in return.
being real about everything is attractive
Don't let your situation make you sad. It can change anytime, any second. Things can happen unexpectedly, blessings in disguise delivered by the unseen hand of fate. And you don't need to know how or when - that's the beauty of surrendering control to Allah swt. Just trust in Him with full conviction. Have faith that He knows what's best for you, even when you don't. Remember the trials we face can be a catalyst for immense growth & a stepping stone to a brighter future. Pray and trust Allah.

You will not be mature until you have no desire or need to convey anything to anyone other than Allah.
“Do not let your past (carelessness) make you lose hope of achieving good, for many people have come back to wakefulness after long sleep.”
— Imām Ibn al-Jawzī | Awaking from the Sleep of Heedlessness, p.58
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Whoever relieves a believer's distress of the distresses of this world, Allah will relieve from him a distress of the distresses of the Day of Judgment. Whoever makes things easy for someone in difficulty, Allah will make things easy for him in this world and the Hereafter. And Allah is in the help of the servant as long as the servant is in the help of his brother."
After searching for bodies of the martyrs in one of the areas of Syria, the fighters came across the body of a 16 year old boy who had been killed. They found in his pocket a small notebook, in which he used to write his sins during the week; if only we could call them sins:
Monday: I slept without wudhu.
Tuesday: I laughed in a loud voice.
Wednesday: I prayed nightprayer fast.
Thursday: When we were playing and I scored a goal, I felt pride.
Friday: I didn’t recite 1000 salutations on the Prophet salallahu aleyhi wa sallam, and only reached 700.
Saturday: I forgot morning dhikr.
Imagine this is what he thought were sins. We are carrying on everyday with our sinful lives and do not give a second thought to these actions.
