Here's the pure Instrumental Version of my "Praise the Helix" remix, which you can listen to right here.
Alright, as I promised - new song!
This is an orchestral remix of the kinda-well-known song "Praise the Helix" from the Church of the Helix Choir, which was recently used in the final mix of their remix contest. Now, as I promised on Facebook - here's the real deal, full orchestral version with all the stuff that WASN'T used. All the voices are me. Instrumental will follow soon!
EDIT: Forgot the most important thing. THE HONORS!

Again, sorry for lack of updates - hopefully, my situation will improve very soon-ish, so expect more updates as I roll along. For now, enjoy a small sneak preview of the soundtrack we are doing for Missing Stars - we have a SoundCloud now, and it currently contains three of my tracks in production: "Sacher and Karlsbader", a theme heavily inspired by Vienna-styled waltzes and Austria orchestra setups, "Shades of Echo", the main theme of a character (not telling which one!) and "19th Century Girl" which is... kind of a surprise for now.
Hope you like them!

Sorry for the lack of updates again - something very unexpected happened. Without wanting to go into details, I got assaulted in my own flat last weekend and had to flee without notice. As of the moment, I am legally homeless and trying to piece my life back together while living out of boxes sleeping on a friend's couch... So both updates and compositions will be really slow (read: non-existant) until I get a new place and everything set up. Thanks for your understanding and support <3
Sorry for the long break, I'm back to updating now! As an apology, have a previously unreleased track of mine - the Core o'Beiniki. This was a project of mine from back when I was still studying at SAE Frankfurt. The assignment was to sample a multilayered MIDI instrument by yourself and make some synthie sounds, and then somehow use them in a composition of your choosing. I kicked it up a step, sampled an entire violin AND an entire cello, whipped up some cool sample and made a song consisting ENTIRELY of my samples and synthies. You will recognize the famous Tetris Type A theme - based on the russian folk song, "Korobeiniki", hence the name.

Oh, yeah, and there's also the instrumental version of course. Enjoy.

There's a looong story to this one. For now I'll just leave it here and cover the whole backstory in a later blog entry - I will actually have to even do research for this one...Â
Basically, it's a parody of a parody. The original is "Day and Night" by Kid Cudi, the whole lyrics, remix, arrangement and so on are OC though. Details on the video. :)
"Wilson in a Sideways Pan", a small, jaunty song I wrote for "Island", a flash game that never was completed. It was still good practice and I really like how the beats came out.
So, let's get this party started. This is my soundtrack composition "Aurora Alagaesiae", written for a contest of Randomhouse Books/Bertelsmann, to promote the last book of the Eragon series. I ended up not winning the main prize (a live gig. Welp.) but the song was played as an intro to the readings Christopher Paolini did travelling through Europe. I also met him and his sister for lunch - very nice, grounded and chill people.
"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." (Laozi)
So, in that spirit, let's finally kick this blog off the ground. From now on, I will irregularly make updates, upload old songs, talk about how they came to be and tell you about progress in Missing Stars, as well as reblog things I find to be relevant. Without further ado now, let the uploads begin.
