This was their lot in life; death, tragedy and pain. They were the only ones left. She had been through this. Had been forced to stare upon her fatherâs head, to hear the cheers at her brotherâs and motherâs death, to walk the ghostly halls of her home. She knew this song. She couldn't let Jon succumb to it. ------ She was fragile and he did not know what she needed. He was broken, too - and two broken pieces don't always fit together. She needed better than him.

Its hilarious how characters who are actually killers are never condemned by fandom for their acts but Sansa is blamed for killing everyone from Mycah to Ned to Lady to even currently alive Sweet Robin lol
But you don't understand.
She said mean things that hurt other people's feelings. At least like twice! Maybe even up to four times!
The others only killed people. Dead people's feelings cannot be hurt.
So you see who is the real villain here. Someone who would hurt another person's feelings is basically a monster capable of all kinds of indirect murder all over the place, while violently killing people is really just a sad-and-badass necessity sometimes for good people. Made necessary, sometimes, because their feelings were hurt.

Jon Snow Appreciation Month Day 5 - Bastard Identity
I can see an in love (but still in denial) Sansa, looking at Jon's sullen face when he's distracted or kinging, and Sansa is thinking "no, I can't love Jon, he isn't the tall, handsome prince I once dreamed of when she was little" but she fails miserably because she ends up finding things about his looks she does like and admire. let's face it, she'll do that.
it will be something like jon being fearless, as brave as the wolf and something that others don't know: he's a secret hopeless romantic, but also: his hair is soft and he has the prettiest smile. . . and she, blushing, has to look away before someone notices she's looking at his lips.

I'll be forever mad at how instead of a book sassy Jon who looked directly at Ned Stark with a 'I have the right to decide, too, while Theon damned prisoner ward Greyjoy absolutely cannot tell me what to do' gaze and simply announced that the direwolf is his,
"An albino," Theon Greyjoy said with wry amusement. "This one will die even faster than the others."
Jon Snow gave his father's ward a long, chilling look. "I think not, Greyjoy," he said. "This one belongs to me."
we got Jon's confused face that says "Am I the worthy of this pup? 'Cause I said five seconds ago that I'm not a Stark, and five seconds before that I said that these direwolves are meant for the Stark children... Okay, I'll have him."

We donât need to be professional writers to know that they built a character (in books and show) that was psychologically and emotionally incapable of betraying the Starks. And then in the show they do this on top of that. Look at the boyâs face. Sansa didnât just give him an article of clothing. Sansa wasnât just being nice. She is giving him identity. And she does it over and over with actions and with words. âYou are to me.â No one ever did as much to affirm and claim Jon as a Stark as she did. How much does Jon want what she keeps offering? âItâs the first thing I ever remember wanting.â

Whatâs actually funny is that you had to come into MY inbox. I really keep to myself, so ending up here must have been a journey for you. Why invest that kind of time in a fandom you donât enjoy?
