Anna Valerious & The Brides of Dracula
I will forever think of that amazing transformation of their dresses into the bat wings
I’ve wanted to post fanart of the brides from VAN HELSING (2004) for a while, and I’m so happy with how this turned out! My favourite out of the three is Marishka (so sad she didn’t last long in the film!) Who’s your favourite bride out of the three? These characters have been a long time obsession for me growing up, and I love their characterization in the film, genuinely loving each other and mourning over the loss of a bride. In my perfect world, they would have gotten a spinoff film that explored their individual backstories before they turned into a vampire bride. 🩸

iwtv seasons one and two was like being tucked into bed and read a heartbreaking story by Louis du pointe du lac. The Vampire Lestat is like your blackout drunk uncle trying to tell you an anecdote at a family gathering

So I finished my first run of Baldur's Gate 3...

At the water's edge...
URGENT, PLEASE!
I recently adopted a kitten (she had fallen down a drain) and today I took her to the vet urgently because she was vomiting and oozing pus. I was told that she has an infection in her uterus (it's basically full of pus) and that she needs urgent surgery, plus she has tested positive for erlikia.
Even with all my savings, I can't cover all the expenses for surgeries, remedies and other aftercare.
Please, if you can donate, buy me a commission or at least reblog this post, I would be eternally grateful.
at least I need 350$

TJ MIKELOGAN’s HALLOWEEN HORROR 2025 EVENT ↳ DAY 7: Generational/familial horror
The Haunting of Hill House (2018) created by Mike Flanagan
Hill House, not sane, stands against its hills, holding darkness within. It has stood so for a 100 years and might stand 100 more. Within, walls continue upright. Bricks meet nearly, floors are firm, and doors are sensibly shut. Silence lay steadily against the wood and stone of Hill House. And those who walk there, walk together.
Siblings in Horror
THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE (2018)
i love it when a piece of media is like: is there anything more painful than knowing your sibling? is there anything more tragic than knowing they are the only person who will ever share the same experience as you? they were the only constant in your life. they were there since birth and now, no matter how they betray you, you will still love them. you will always feel the need to protect them even if you can no longer bring yourself to talk to them. will anyone else be able to understand? will anybody be able to love you and hate you and fear you the same way a sibling loves you and hates you and fears you? no, probably not
Thinking a lot about how the appeal of ghost stories is the idea that even if your life goes up in an instant, some part of you still endures, forever changed but forever still there to tell people who you were. That you lived. That you loved. That you mattered.
