Hey Emi-chan!  ♡

Guh, Greece has probably been the most stressful place I’ve been to yet, as you already know.  Downtown Athens, particularly the Omonia area, is pretty sketchy - this coming from someone who can walk through (most) of Los Angeles at night with no problem.

Once we changed hotels things got a fair bit better.  It’s crazy that I felt safer in Istanbul.  Although, I don’t stand our near as much here, haha.

So?  What else to say?  I ripped the ass of my jeans whilst semi-illegally climbing over a very high ledge near the Acropolis - but I got a free hat out of it, so~ 8D

Had the BEST gyro of my life, and I got to climb around their ancient Olympic stadium, so overall, not a bad deal.

Italy’s just a stone’s throw away (15.5 hour ferry ride + 5 hour train ride). Hooray.  x’D

As we pass these beautiful villages built on these lakes, all I can think is yeah, I could see myself being happy here.  The worst a lake can do is flood, but the ocean is salty, difficult to swim in, has tsunami’s and hurricanes and sharks and jellyfish - AND they can flood too.

It’d be so nostalgic bringing my kids to the lake to swim, as my parents often took me during my summers as a kid.  My parents always swam too.  It seemed obvious then that they would, but looking back on it now, I really am glad they did - that they didn’t just sit on the sand and watch us. That’s right, lakes also have sand, huh?  ♡

I especially love the rolling green mountains, some with even snow on their caps.  It all makes me feel calm and serene, and so ultimately small in the best way you can feel that way.

A lot of these towns have clock towers too. I like clock towers.

Austria has been wonderful, albeit German has been the most difficult language thus far.  I find myself often tossing out Italian phrases instead, but thankfully a lot of people know at least a little Italian.  ♡

I’ve always thought Austrians were strict, but kind.  Late to bed but early to rise, hard working, punctual people.  But I think I get more of that feel from the Swiss...

Austria is absolutely beautiful, though.  Especially in quaint Hallstatt.  But the people are colder, ruder.  They wake late (nothing opens until 11 am!) and they sleep early (everything is closed by 6 pm!).

But this was more in north/central Austria - as I got to bigger cities, suddenly the strong, kind, diligent Austrians began to appear.  ♡

Great grandma is Austrian (now 95), so it meant a lot to Lo being here.  I hope you get the chance to meet her one day - she’s sharp for her age, and a fighter.  Plus, she can tell you stories word for word, as it it happened last week, not in 1935!  ♡

SAD.  SO VERY SAD!!  TToTT I’ve been sad lately but today was the worst.

I’m stuck in Black Desert Online.

Watched Hakata Tonkatsu Ramens - didn’t care for it much.

Kept binging. I’m fucking up so much!

Slept most of today. Got shit for sleep last night.

Posted the #2009vs2019 challenge. That wasn’t depressing.  : /

Oh, and I guess my classes started today.  Egh.

Oh!  Also went to the dentist - they’re gonna pull my first wisdom tooth!

The tech guy showed up this morning to fix up our wifi (which has been out since yesterday). It just went out a few hours later.  Ugh.

I made a dinner Lo liked (chicken bake).

We finally got the net back up by bedtime.

Had dinner with Jeff and Lisa tonight. I really didn’t wanna go. Lo even more so. Jeff gave us $100 as a Christmas gift. It was sweet.

Lo was in a sour mood after we got back. Then they cried. I held them.

Lo got second tattoo today! It’s a beautiful lotus on their sternum with danging sun and moon charms (ie. SNS ♡).

It took 1.5 hours just to get the stencil JUST right, then another 3 hours of actual inking. It is absolutely stunning!

Had a good session with Robert.  : )

Ran some errands at Target.

Uhh, randomly dyed my hair blue! (I was inspired by Tyler who dyed his recently)

Did a few missions on Black Desert Online.

Sold my microphone.

Did I mention my hair is BLUE?!

Emi and I played Black Desert Online today. I rode on the back of her horse! I also got to meet Glo - she was cool.  ♡ They even helped level me up! I had a lot of fun~  : )

Wrote a long email with my thumb, lol. It took me two hours!! I regret everything.

Cleaned the bedroom and washed the sheets.

Made drop biscuits with my new Carbquik.  ♡

Ate Halal Guys for dinner.

Made a pork roast this morning. The house smelled SO good.  (º ﹃ º )

Cleaned - a LOT.

Talked to mom. She said that Sandra Bullock eats babies. =/ It was SOOOO hard not to start laughing at her, I stg I deserve a freaking medal!

Started playing Overwatch. It’s pretty fun.

Lo met up with a new friend, Madhu, for lunch. I stayed home so I wouldn’t ruin it, haha.

Went grocery shopping and did some light cleaning.

Ate a taco bowl for dinner. Still on keto, btw.

Slept in ‘til lunch. Ate a philly sub in a tub.

Spent most of the day cleaning house with Lo. We listened to Spotify to keep us sane.

Okay, so Lo is definitely manic. It’s been building up but last night they didn’t sleep at all, they completely skipped work today (didn’t even work from home), and all they can talk about is this tattoo they’re planning to get suddenly. We had sex on top of all that, so.

I dunno, I mean, I’m supportive of course, but I’m also worried tbh.  = ^ =

Lo and I watched Bird Box to distract me - it was great!

Tried playing Black Desert Online but got tired and went to bed.
