Screaming (Proxies x reader)
I hope yall enjoy :D, been having sum pent up shii going on so this was a good outlet. Also inspired by a song called screaming by Loathe, check them out.
I can’t believe my life turned out like this. My fun coffee shop job, my cozy apartment, and my friends with whom I made genuine connections with; all down the drain. Now I’m a slave to an Eldritch being, in a rickety old cabin that turns into an ice box when it hits 60. I live with people who have tormented me; ripped my loving life from under my feet and laughed at it.
The rain takes me out of my thoughts, it's crashing down hard tonight. Shivering I curl into a ball for more warmth under my blanket. Luckily the bed is comfortable but that doesn’t help when you're practically freezing. Looking out the window where the dark endless forest looks back at me. The so-called Operator is out there, somewhere. The thought of it being in the cold unforgiving rain gives me slight enjoyment. Sighing I turn over, looking to the right side wall, where Toby’s room is, him being the reason I’m awake right now. Ever since ‘moving in’ all I hear is that fucker banging and throwing shit around in his room. His shitty TV blasting shitty sitcoms. At times I can hear him talking to god knows what. This time, he woke me up by throwing something at the wall, now the cold won’t let me go back to sleep. They took my life, my hobbies, my future, and worse of all, my sleep. They even took the option to drown my reality in quick, cheap, dopamine hits, smashing my phone into pieces. The only comfort I even have now is recessing into my mind creating a world they could never touch. Huffing out I swing my legs over the bed, forcing my body to have some type of strength to get up. I haven't really eaten since getting here two weeks ago. I’ve had snacks but not a full meal. Seems like my body is finally letting me know. The taller guy, Brian , did say I have the full range of the cabin, like there's much to see anyways.
Opening my door I peer out slowly, hoping that no one is out to greet me. The cabin is only being illuminated by the moonlight shining through the windows. Flashes of lightning go off, showing me the living room. Dated furniture, a dusty bookshelf with untouched books, and the most antique looking interior you can imagine. Stepping out into the living room, taking fragile steps to ease my worries. The smell of cigarettes and damp air hit me. Memories of my family try to come into view, I hate how he smokes cigarettes. The smell would bring such fond memories before. Now all I think about is was how he bound and gagged me, tossed me into the back of a trunk. That stupid fucking mask propped up so he can light his cigarette.
My hip hits the chair to the dinner table which brings me back to real life. Finally in front of the fridge I prepare myself to see a whole lot of nothing. Gripping the handle, my heart starts to beat, slowly I open the fridge cringing at the noise. Everything feels so quiet now, taking a deep breath, the rain grows louder again. Then I saw it, Holy shit. An unopened Yakult and a sealed vanilla yogurt cup. After days of basically eating crumbs and the most oily junk food. I've never been so happy to see something that wasn't bought in a drive through.
“You’re up l-late.” My whole body freezes “Whatch-cha gonna get?” With the amount of noise he makes, he sure is a light walker.
Without a word I grab both items and close the fridge. Keeping my head down as I try to squeeze past him. His hand pulls me to a stop, glancing at his busted up hand around my arm, I finally have to acknowledge him.
“You're gonna have to t-talk t-to us eventually." He steps closer to me, I take a step back hitting my hip onto the counter. Even though I tower over him, the thought of Toby even touching me disgusts me.
“I'll talk when I'm free.” Toby laughs, his scar crinkling up in an uncanny way. Even in the darkness I can tell he's wearing that annoying smirk.
“Youre just like us so stop acting like you aren't." More silence passes by, rain filling the pause “God.” toby huffs out, basically flicking me off with his hand ‘F-Fucking annoying.” Toby looks to the food in my hands and snatch them. Turning back towards his room
Listening to his heavy footsteps made me realize something, I wasn't some puny little girl. If they wanted me to be like them. I'll be them. I'll be worse. Seeing Toby wear that god awful sweater makes all the more enraged. A horrible crash hit my ears. In a trance I seemed to grab a glass in the sink and throw it as hard as I could at him. Shards of glass splintered onto the floor, Toby's head jerks at the impact. The sound of rain became a roar, flashes of lighting illuminated the room. Touching the back of his head Toby then pulls his fingers towards him. Rubbing together what I assume is the blood I have gifted him with.
“You little,” Toby whips his head to glare at me “Bitch!” his voice rips out. I widen my legs and hunch down, assuming he is going to pounce; and just like I thought, he does. Closing the distance she shoves my head into the fridge. Right hand digging my face into the freezer door, his left grabbing my wrist and tugging it down. Grunting I force my free hand to his throat, knowing I wont do any damage I settle for pushing his throat as far away from me as possible. A test of strength, a test of who wants it more. Reeling my left leg up, I gather all my strength and kick him as hard as possible. He falls but not without grabbing the front of my head and forcing me to fall with him. A hard thump rings in the air, if he were any normal person a hit like that would knock some sense into him. But he isn't a person. Uncomfortably I'm on top of him, scambling my way off . Toby grabs the back of my head and attempts to whip me to the side. A grunt and whine escapes from me but I somehow manage to staddle him. With my head being basically pulled off my fist reels itself back in utter anger. Then all my pent up hatred forces itself down onto his throat. Toby's eyes widen as he lets go of my hair, both hands go to cradle his throat. I'm out of breath as I watch him attempt to roll over under me. Each gasp for air reminds me of that night. The night they killed him. Poor Sal was gasping all the same.
“You fucker!” I scream, There's a lamp on a coffee table next to me. My hand follows my instincts, but instead two thick arms wrap around me.
“Alright! Enough!” Tim yells in my ear, and he pulls me off of him. I spot Bryan in a shirt and boxers to the side. He then flicks the lights on.
“What the fuck?” Bryan decides to chime in. Tim's arms become all too much so I crane my body inwards to bite him. He yelps in pain as he throws me to the ground. My knees hit hard but I scramble up anyway.
“You!” I attempt to hold myself “ You all! Can't have me!” I push over the bookshelf next to me. It almost lands on Toby before Tim manages to catch it but not without a good amount of books managing to fall on him. Sprinting to the kitchen my hand pulls out one of the knives from the holder. Before I can't even do anything Bryan talks.
“It won't let you go.” There's some silence, my heartbeat is pounding in my ears but at least the rain is still comforting. Bryan makes slow steps towards me “We’ve all tried. All of us. Even if you kill us. Yourself. He wont let you go.”
“No-NO! Don’t say that.” As hard as I didn't want them to see, I start to cry “DON’T SAY THAT!” I point the knife towards him, making him pause. Hot tears run down my face and my hands start to shake. My back hits the kitchen counter. “I’ve seen you work. I KNOW how you monsters work. It won't work with me.”
“See I t-told you guys we s-should've kept her in there.” Tim looks at Toby.
“Shut the fuck up Rodgers!”
“Like an animal!” taking a step forward “I had to wait there, sleep there, eat and shit there, in the cold. In that fucking shed. Replaying his death thousands of times because I still didn't believe it! How you guys made a GAME with his death, with my friends." I trail off wiping my now sobbing face. Wishing I could just wipe everything off. My arm outstretched with the knife slowly falling. I can’t see with the tears flooding my vision. But the soft touch of another hand wraps around mine, slowly taking the knife away from me.
“Do you really think we choose this for us?” Blinking hard, I take a look at Bryan, trying to read his face. If I didn't know any better I'd say his face was filled with self pity. But if you heard how he laughed as he pulled the trigger on Sal's ankles, watching as he screamed and crawled to get away. Then you too would recognize the sound of a snake. Swallowing the thick saliva that pooled in my mouth, there was so much I wanted to scream.
“Leave me alone.” In the end that's all I could muster out. Glancing to the side I can see toby glaring at me realizing he wasn't wearing his sweater at all. Instead it was a off white T-shirt and brown plaid PJ bottoms. While Tim lit a cigarette, and is now leaning on the couch looking all ready for this to be over. Bryan speaks.
“I understand you need time. But if this shit happens again. You're going back to the shed.”
“What!?” Toby exclaims, resulting in result Bryan whipping around pointing to him.
“Shut it! I don't want to hear from you either.” Toby huffs out and storms to his room. As Tim then follows.
“I think I its gonna get infected.” He says in a sarcastic tone, voice trailing off as he goes deeper into the hallway.
“You'll be fine Tim.” Bryan takes one last look at me before he flicks the lights off and heads to his room as well.
Plz lemme know any criticisms you guys might have

I just finished watching this soap opera and I’m so in love with them. Such a shame they have too little screen time :(
Also it was hard to watch because of the kind of politics it contains and the glorification of communism and Fidel Castro. As a Cuban myself, I couldn’t avoid to feel a lot of pain through it. That put aside, it was great.
Maybe I’ll read the book?? Although I’ve heard it’s not as good.
Here are different versions of this fanart, book-cover-like and alternative colors, cause why not
And the references of course!

Late night thoughts of a everthinking girl
As I get older I can’t help but to remember all the actions and words I wish I never said. Or the different paths I could have taken and how they could have shaped me to be a different person. I go back into my high school days and wonder, if I said no to those two girls and stayed a loner. Would I have been better off. Or would I be the same ‘head in the clouds’ person. Now as my actions finally have weight to them in my everyday life. I wonder, was there something I could have done in my past that could have helped me now? It’s hard to find the will to do basic things now. From eating right, to exercising, and even taking care of myself. I have a relationship that has dragged into my adult life that I can’t seem to shake off just yet. These are just some of the things that I think about often. But I always find myself too tired to fix any of them. It’s like I’m physically being held back to help myself. But what’s a girl to do other then to just keep going.

A/N: I wrote this some time ago on quotev so I decided to put this here as well :3 (so sorry if it’s bad 😭) I had to edit a lot of it because the writing was so horrible 💀
The sounds of spray cans fills the air, as well as the sound of them being shaken from time to time. There’s a girl ambitiously spraying art on the walls of a seemingly abandoned building. Music leaks out of her headphones, Slow jamz, a Twista song her dad showed her when she was little. Spraying a mural was something she did weekly, nothing in particular today; just different shapes and drawings she was experimenting with. The abandoned building she’s in was cold and damp but she didn’t let that stop her. She was in a good mood and anyone could tell if they were watching. Dancing and singing while throwing up art was a way to help her cool off steam.
“Got a light skin freind look like Jackson, the dark skin friend look like Michael Jackson” she sings out the lyrics while hitting a move with her feet. She laughs at the silly lyrics.
Her seemingly heavy clothing, chunky boots, thick dickies pants, and a grey baggy hoody, was not slowing her down one bit. The only thing she was blissfully unaware of was the three pairs of foot steps heading her way.
“Masky what are we gonna do about this fucker here, w-we can’t wait for them t-to leave.” A guy who sounds to be in his mid twenties twitches violently, following behind his two coworkers.
“I don’t know, you tell me. We can either kill them or just push em’ out that damn window.” Masky has a bored and annoyed sound to his voice.
“What the f-fuck are they even doing up there. Been stoh-stomping up there for at least a fucking hour.”
The guy twitches as he puts his orange goggles off his eyes on his forehead. He then rolls up his iconic brown stripped sweater. Standing at 5’9 he has more of a lanky athletic build, already itching to run someone off. All three men vary in looks, the only similarities are the boots they wear for their work.
“Fuck if I know Toby.” Masky replies.
Hoodie is the first to catch a glimpse of the girl. He stops in his tracks to just stare at her through the doorframe. Masky is curious at his partners sudden pause. Before he can say anything he too sees the girl. Furrowing his brows behind his mask, he stands dumbfounded.
“Why did you guys stop?” Toby said barely walking up the last steps.
Hoodie just points. Toby’s head then looks to the girl who’s giving the dance of her life to a song blaring out her headphones. He starts bursting out in laughter, holding his stomach even. The thing is, she’s actually pretty good. She seems to have experience in her moves and from what they hear, following the rhythm. All they see is a girl with headphones on, facing away from them with a bag full of spray cans on the floor, and a unique mural, seemingly her work. Hoodie chuckles, smiling under his mask.
“What the fuck.” He says with a smile in his voice.
The girl doesn’t even know that she’s being observed . She’s as happy as one can be. Smiling and sweating a bit. Hoodie then walks into the room and his teammates follow.
“Hoodie-“ Masky starts but Hoodie just puts his finger up at him. Hoodie just leans on the wall and keeps watching. The song ends and the girl huffs out.
“Todays a good day.” She says to herself. Another song starts to play but she goes to her bag to put all her cans away, She bends down.
“Gonna go home, eep, get ready for the birthday dinner, then ice cream.”
She zips her bag and puts it on. With music still blaring she zips around only to see the men with masks on, including Toby. She jumps, gripping her bags shoulder strap, startled by their presence. Her eyes immediately snap to the pair of hatchets that sit at Toby’s hips. The three men stand there unbothered. Tobys amusement is shown with his eyes, waiting to see how this whole situation will go down. After a brief moment she takes her headphones off and situates herself. Turning off her music.
“U-uhhh. Hi,” Her response is drawed out in nervousness, the men seemingly staring her down. The growing pit in her chest still there, “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean too, uh cause any disruption?” She feels like any wrong word will determine if she gets out of this building alive.
The men still say nothing. Toby looks to Masky who looks at Hoodie. Which in turn makes the girls eyes follow. She has a death grip on that shoulder strap.
“You scared?” Is all he says.
“Well, um, yeah…” Another moment of awkward silence passes. It kills her, unaware that’s the intention Hoodie wants . “Not to mention, you guys are in like, some weird costumes.” Her voice is small.
Toby starts to walk up to her, her eyes widen a bit. Trying to sink into the wall she takes a quick glance at his hatchets. He gets his face real close and personal. With one hand planted to the wall beside her, the other in his pocket. She almost whimpers in fear. Toby’s shit eating grin doesn’t calm her nerves one bit. His eyes follows hers as she try’s to not look directly at him. Gulping, she another nervous glance at his hatchets. Taking notice to this he just smiles. His hand then goes from his pocket to the strap on his belt that hold his hatchets, taking one out. She can feel her heart in her ears. At first he has the blade pointing at her, then flips it around quickly making her jump.
“You like it?” He puts the back end of the blade on her cheek. She closes her eyes and faces away, trying her hardest to prevent herself from sobbing. Toby then gets real close, sliding the hatchet down her face.
“I like it too.” He’s says in a whisper.
Hes so close that she could feel his body heat. Not to mention how he’s towering over her in a way that makes her crunch up a bit. Masky and Hoodie are now on either side of them. Masky to the right of her, Toby still pressed up against her to her left, and Hoodie, arms crossed, in the middle. Trapping her like a box. Toby then steps back a bit. At this moment if she took one step in any direction she would be chest to chest with them. She looks down, mentally shitting bricks. She hates how these men are towering over her.
“What are we gonna do with her Hoodie.” Masky states.
“I’m thinkin’,” Hoodie replies. Those beady red eyes staring through her soul.
He then stretches out his hand and brushes some of her hair behind her ear. She finches hard, causing him to grabs a fistful of her hair, yanking her so she looks up at him, her headphones falling to the ground. She grunts. Crying as stares at that red frown.
“Listen to me.” He pulls her close to him, the girls hands fly straight to his wrist in an attempt to loosen his iron grip “ You're gonna home have that dinner and that ice cream.” The mocking tone he laces his words with make her feel even smaller “Alright? You never saw us. You were never here. Nothing.” She’s breathing heavily and grips his wrist again.
“Mmhhmm.” She said frantically, face hot and tense. His other hand shoots up to her face gripping her cheeks painfully. Making her unwillingly pout.
“No you’re gonna talk to me.” He makes her nod her head painfully. “Do I make myself clear?” Toby snickers at the embarrassing state she’s in. Her eyes flicker to masky then back to hoodie. She almost forgets the other two men are there.
“Yes!” She sobs out, tears now spilling out of her.
“Good. If you ever tell anyone about today. I’ll make sure that when I tie your family up and gut them, you’ll have a front-row seat. Got it?”
At this point, it’s an endless stream of tears. His hand goes from her cheeks to her throat.
“Y-yes. I w-won’t tell anyone. I promise.” His hand then lets go of the fist full of hair. His hands then go to her shoulders and takes a look at her. She’s obviously disheveled. Hoodie fixes her messed up hair, patting it down. Then with his gloved hands wipes away her tears.
“See that wasn’t so bad.” He says in a cheerful tone. He steps back, all three of his comrades looking at her. She notices Toby looking jittery.
“Can we please throw her out the window?” Toby pleads hoodie.
The girl looks at Hoodie eyes wide pleading. There’s a brief moment of silence.
“Yeah why not.”
“What?” She croaks out. Toby then laughs and grabs her, Masky following suit and helping toby.
“Wait wait!” She exclaims to no avail. They both grab an arm and a leg and swing her for momentum.
With a smile in his voice Toby chants, even Masky was enjoying this.
“One!”
“No! No! Please!” She screams out, trying to wiggle herself out feeling her already heavy backpack swing side to side with her. Toby giggles.
“Two.” Masky huffs out.
“Three!” With Toby’s last count he makes sure to swing her as hard as he could out of the window.
They threw her like she weighed nothing. Her world pauses for a moment and as she fell, she catches a glimpse of hoodie with her headphones around his neck, as well as Toby smilingly manically while peaking his head through the window. Maskys eyes staring down menacingly. She just knows he’s smiling under that fucking mask. Before she’s knows it, she falls 20 feet to the ground. The spray cans burst in her backpack upon landing. The air is knocked out of her as she rolls to her side. She grunts, gasps and tenses her body at the pain. She can hear those fucking men laughing. All three of them as it seems. Gasping she turns to her stomach to get up. She has to fight her own body to try and stand up. Stumbling to her feet she fails a couple times before she gets up fully. Forcing herself to run she decides she can’t wait here any longer. She’d rather have that dinner than to see if they changed their mind.

Each day goes on like the last one never happened. Dust builds over, people forget, and new memories build, but not for me. I never understood how people can move on so fast or don’t hold on to those people who cared about them. I’ve seemed to get the short end of the stick each time, and yet people always tell me to keep going, keep fighting. I drone each day, wondering when I will have my turn, where I can too, forget the passing day. It’s not like I want everyone to think like me, or be like me. I just want someone to understand me and connect with me. Maybe then they will make me see how each day is a new opportunity. I guess until then, each person that I thought I could give my heart too, will disappoint me. It’s a Tuesday in October, the leaves are turning orange and the wind gets nippier. Hearing people talk about the Halloween party that happened the past weekend, or how their six-year-old nephew will be a little bee for Halloween is all common in the library I work at. It’s a nice stable workplace that I feel lucky to be in. Although underfunded, people love coming here to learn and even make friends. It’s a place that makes me feel more connected to people without actually connecting. Sometimes in the back of my mind, I catch myself daydreaming of maybe making a friend group here. I cringe, knowing that it just doesn’t happen for someone like me. Don’t get me wrong I did have friends and people who cared about me, but they were never stable, always coming and going as they pleased.
“Hey y/n.” That voice brings me out of my thoughts.
“Huh?” I simply reply continuing to look through the files that I unknowingly stopped doing.
“What are you thinking in that head of yours?” Oscar, a middle-aged man who’s the custodian here and I occasionally swap lunches with, asks me. I smile and continue looking through my files as he leans against the doorway of my office. His mop bucket in front of him.
“Nothing as always.” I sigh and smile, not really in the mood to talk.
“You always say that, but I can see it,” he says, and that answer confuses me, which makes me stop looking through the files once again.
“Wha-?” That is all I reply with. He smiles and lightly shakes his head.
“I saw those eyes in my daughter too; there’s always something happening in that head.” My face goes blank. Then I think about his daughter, the one who killed herself two years ago. I, genuinely have nothing to say. I’m not offended either; I’m not the happiest person.
“I swear Oscar, I just. Daydream I guess.” I say in a confused tone. He just nods his head and slowly continues his day. I’m left almost starstruck, that statement left me speechless. Do I look that miserable? I look to the window to the left of me, finally seeing how disheveled I look in the reflection. Maybe that's why no one really talks to me here. I look down at my files; maybe I should try connecting to people more.
.
.
“October 23rd, 6:34 AM, 5 dead bodies found.” I look at him, unamused “At that same time there was a power outage on that street. Everything electronic INCLUDING” he exclaims and walks towards me, “backup generators, people security cameras, which some of them don’t need constant power”
“So this is all connected?” I question.
“Yes!” he grabs my shoulder “Do you know how many people on that street told me that something like this has never happened to them.”
“I think it’s wrong you're linking these deaths to a… Slender guy?”
“Slenderman y/n.” he says deadpan, his enthusiastic attitude now gone. I sigh and pick up my laundry basket on the floor, he opens the door for me.
“Thank you. Why are you so obsessed with this thing? It was an internet meme and now it’s gone. He’s not real.” I continued walking to the laundry room, Connor following right behind me with my detergent.
“You don’t understand. I’ve been researching and interviewing people who have seen him. Every story aligns.” Mrs. Garcia, my landlord, walks by. My brother and I both smile and nod our heads.
“I just think you're putting your energy into the wrong thing, why don’t you go to college? Pursue a Journalism career?” Finally getting to the laundry room and put my stuff down. Looking at Connor, I see his deadpan face once again Making me smile “You so funny” I tell him
“Sweet, sweet, y/n. So naive.”
“Says the guy who believes in Slenderman,” I say, a woman beside me side-eyes us. Connor gets closer to me. Now in a serious tone.
“Trust me y/n I’m not even telling you everything.” I turn to him. My 19-year-old brother is always the one to put his nose where it doesn’t belong.
“Yeah...” continuing my laundry. “Anyways, Mom told me you quit Bucky’s. Why?”
“cuz it was ass. Plus the pay was bad too.” He played with the peeling washer sticker.
“Doesn’t explain why you didn’t tell mom you were leaving over here.” The sounds of the machines whirr as I wait for his answer.
“Moms a bitch” The woman beside me once again looks over us “She can question all she wants for what I care.”
“Yeah? What about me hmm?”
“Why is she bothering you?”
“Just the same amount each time you run over here.”
“Well tell her not to worry.” He replies. As I finish putting my last load in the washer the memory of Mom pops into my head. Her calling my name to signal me inside after playing outside all day. Wish days were that simple all the time.
A/N: Sorry for taking so long lmao
I write then rewrite so much because I don't think it's good enough but oh well. lmk what i can change to make this more enjoyable to read :)
Being 19.
Getting older was something I never really thought about. I don’t think I ever really thought about growing up actually. Now I am older and I’ve never been more concerned about how my life will end up. I know I will be okay. I know my life will end up how I want it to be. What I’m scared of is the type of person I’m growing up to be. I don’t want to be a 40 year old mother who struggled because she chose the wrong man. Or be a nasty old woman who’s stubborn and mean because of the things life threw at her. I find myself regressing into my childhood ways. Finding interest in stuff I loved as a kid. Reading fanfiction until 4 in the morning when I have work at 11 am. Finding joy in rewatching my childhood kid shows and procrastinating my actual adult priorities. Wishing that I can break up with my mean boyfriend. Yet when I do leave I’ve never felt worse. I don’t live with my parents and provide for myself. Even though where I’m at now is the best thing that’s happened to me. I still can’t help to feel alone and want to cling to the things that make me feel safe. Even when they aren’t the best for me. I’m writing this in hopes someone relates? Maybe we can talk about it. See would we could do to make the right choices. It’s hard doing things alone when you want someone to do it with.
Please, don't stress about it so much

A/N, This is a short intro for an idea I have for a TT story :3 I want some feedback and to see if people like how the vibe feels. (This would be my first time writing a fanfic)

“I swear Oscar, I just. Daydream I guess.” I say in a confused tone. He just nods his head and slowly continues his day. I’m left almost starstruck, that statement left me speechless. Do I look that miserable? I look to the window to the left of me, finally seeing how disheveled I look. Maybe that's why no one really talks to me here. I look down at my files; maybe I should try connecting to people more.
