A three dimensional person leaves a two dimensional handprint so you’d think that a two dimensional person would leave a one dimensional handprint but in cartoons the handprints are still two dimensional.

And if a four dimensional being had a hand, would their handprint still be two dimensional as well? Or would they make a three dimensional handprint? Or would their handprint also exist in four dimensions?

If time is a fourth dimension though, then what if a five dimensional being’s handprint is just your hand? Or you? One day a five dimensional child stuck its hands in the mud and there you were. From egg to death. In an instant you came into existence from the equivalent of a toddler playing in the sandbox. I think I’m the handprint from when someone grabs your face and softly and lovingly but urgently asks what the hell you think you’re doing.

Or maybe my handprint means less than I think it does. Sometimes a handprint can be three dimensional. Like when you stick it in clay. There’s a version of my handprint stuck in clay in the garden from when I was a baby. Forever collecting rainwater in the cracks that my hand had twenty one years ago.

So maybe the world is like clay to two dimensional beings. Or sometimes their handprints are one dimensional and we just can’t understand it because we exist in a realm of depth. So with that logic, maybe four dimensional beings can’t fully understand us either just like we can’t understand them.

lol a while back in discord chats, we had teased about the fact that Charlie and Bee probably get caught doing stuff around the scrapyard enough times despite their best attempt at hiding spots, that eventually Bee just claims a shipping container for privacy. But he makes it all homey–with mattresses, blankets and pillows, and twinkle lights for when charlie visits. The others call it the love shack…
