I haven’t roleplayed in a long time, so it’s time that I dust off my blog. Like if you’re interested in roleplaying with me.

so here’s maki with a deal for you all. she’s bringing her latest mistake and tossing her out into the open. an indie, selective, and private blog for the canon muse known as rumiho akiha ( aka faris nyannyan ) from the series steins;gate. a rather impish, playful, and independent seventeen year old who has rather odd manners of speaking. she’s spunky, she’s flirty, and she’s pretty influential to boot. but what’s more !! is that if you don’t know of the steins;gate series ? that’s cool ! i’ve managed to toss up a lot of different verses for her, including pokemon , boku no hero academia , persona 5 , final fantasy , and am going to work on developing a dangan ronpa v3 verse for her ! modern, as well as crossover verses are a thing as well. what a steal ! snag her now with a cool reblog or a like and i’ll check you out, nya ! just make sure to read the rules before interacting in any way so you know what you’re getting into !!

Philip nodded his head in response to her question. She did miss her mother, or at least she used to… it was hard to tell anymore. He had to keep her locked up in a closet in his apartment where no one could see or hear her, or they would discover the truth. She had been turned. No, she hadn’t been bitten by one of the Biters, she had been shot in the stomach while running away from members of a gang with him and then she had turned. It was a spark of hope that he had to cling to, because that’s all that he had had left. But even that tiny glimmer of hope to have her back with him was seemingly getting dimmer and dimmer as the days passed them by. Philip couldn’t just let that light go out for good, could he?

“She stopped talking for a while after her mother died.” He commented and made his way over to the window to open up the blinds a little more to get a better view of the rain pelting the windows and the streets just right outside. It seemed to only be getting heavier, if that was truly possible, and he couldn’t help but wonder if the men that he had placed as guards were still at their posts on the wall to protect it. Part of him couldn’t blame them if they had decided to duck for cover in this mess.

Taking a deep breath, he glanced in her direction again. “So, I was wondering… would you like a job around Woodbury?” He turned his body to face her again. “I’d let you decide on what you wanted to do, of course— but I’d like t’see you get more involved with the community… it might help you gain a sense of normalcy again… like before all of this happened.” He got the sense that she was sad and lonely and he wanted to reach out to help her a little more, but only if she’d let him. If she found a purpose, then perhaps she would be able to thrive a little more… just as he had been able to.

Moeka listened to both the Governor and the rain as it continued to come down. She had never been a fan of rain... though she usually carried her own inner storm clouds, rain did nothing except further increase her ever-present gloom. Indeed, she could do nothing but hope that it would soon come to a stop, though that didn’t seem as if it would happen anytime soon. Beyond all of that, she felt sorry for his daughter, and in extension, for him as well. He had a lot of things to deal with, it seemed: the welfare of Woodbury, his child, and probable grief due to the loss of his wife. Moeka, on the other hand? Comparatively speaking, she felt as though her problems should probably be considered minor... she felt guilty for feeling how she does, but at the same time she knew that there was nothing that could be done. She knew in her heart that she would never change. However, there was now one light, shining through the clouds in her heart and illuminating all in its way. He had just offered someone like her a job? She was very grateful, and in that moment, she did something quite rare for her: she smiled. She was grateful for his offer... perhaps she could finally have the chance for someone to have a use for her? All that Moeka really wanted was to know that she wanted, that she was needed. Perhaps this was her chance to finally have that coveted feeling? Still smiling, she looked up into the Governor’s eyes and began to speak, this time with no hesitation. “That sounds great. Do you need me for anything in particular...? I want to be useful”.

Focus yourself Okabe! Don’t let yourself lose it… you have come too far at this point to lose control in any way… if this is the obstacle in the way of you and saving Mayuri, then just overcome it. 

“Our superiors want a report on our activities, and yet I can’t seem to cover everything in detail. For example, our meeting and activities relating to the Future Gadget Lab.” Worth a shot! Worse case scenario he could blame a headache? 

That was what Okabe wished to know? Moeka’s suspicion only continued to grow; he was usually quite sharp when it came down to even the smaller details, so this was yet another anomaly. Besides that... they had never had a mission related to this so-called lab. The only reason she was even aware that it existed was because he had mentioned it sometime in the past, and from the sounds of things, he didn’t quite seem to be welcome there. “Okabe... uh, M3, I mean. I thought that you had cut your contact with them? We’ve never had a mission involving the lab, but they seem to be on your mind again...”.

It’s not like she’s doing this for fun, or to see Moeka suffering like this. She feels bad just seeing the sight, and Kurisu is already starts to worry that this will cause Moeka to hate her or the other members of the Future Gadget Lab. “Because you won’t always be able to have it with you. What happens when there’s an outage and you can’t get a connection, or you run out of battery…?”

“It’s just… You won’t always have it. Wouldn’t you rather get used to not having it when you’re not surrounded by strangers…? And when it’s only for a few minutes?”

Moeka supposed that Kurisu had a point; there would be times where she couldn’t access her phone... however, that didn’t make the situation much easier to swallow. She still needed her phone, and she felt that wouldn’t be something that could change. She really didn’t know how to react in this situation, considering that she really didn’t want to let Kurisu down. She had started to feel a little closer with her here recently, so maybe... maybe it might be okay? She was uncertain, but in the end she decided to try to hold on just a little bit longer. “...I’ll do my best.” she finally said, still visibly very uncomfortable.

M3? Had Moeka just called him by that alias? What did that even mean!? That hand once again rested against his head, before he was slowly lead into the room in front of him… and that headache only seemed to get worse. 

“T-thank you…” This was all far too off. He hadn’t deleted all of the D-Mails, so he had to at least be in the Alpha World Line, but this was so drastic! A relationship of some kind with Moeka, the food and drink he liked… this was all so off. “M-Moeka, sorry, I am not really up for that right now. Do you mind if I ask some questions instead?” How the hell was he meant to even talk to Mayuri’s killer like this!? 

Something was definitely off about Okabe, and Moeka knew it. He had been acting bizarrely, and now he had refused his favorite things... she couldn’t remember him ever refusing them before. In fact, he seemed eager about them in the past; eating and drinking them were some of the only times he ever showed much enthusiasm. Until she could figure out exactly what was different, she wouldn’t handle things any different than usual. “What do you want to know, M3?”

She couldn’t hardly believe it when Kurisu had taken her phone from her.  Moeka had never agreed to it... but she didn’t want her to hate her, either. Despite that, she just couldn’t seem to hold out; Kurisu may have claimed that three minutes had passed, but to her, it felt more like an eternity. Her phone was her lifeline and security blanket, and she felt greatly diminished without it. “...why are you doing this?” she quietly questioned, more or less ignoring the question about music. “I need it.”. Moeka couldn’t hide the pleading look on her face, nor could she hide it in the tone of her voice.

Seeing her head inside, the man’s form dropped for a moment. What exactly had just happened here!? And for some reason it seemed as if Moeka and him had some kind of closeness… what exactly what was all that about? 

Following behind the girl now, the man put on a small smile. “S-sorry. I feel like I am coming down with something.”

While she was concerned about her friend and ally, Moeka couldn’t help but note the uncharacteristic smile Okabe had just made... she wouldn’t exactly call him cold, but he always carried a grave air. He really must be feeling sick, she thought. As she led him into her room, she turned her head around and said “Please feel well, M3...”.  Afterwards, she walked over to her fridge, pulled out some food and a drink then offered it to him. “Your favorites. A kebab and Mountain Dew.”
