I donât know why, but I can totally see a modern au where the bishops, The Lamb, and The Goat play dungeons and dragons. So hereâs what I headcanon their classes and alignments would be!
The Lamb would be a Paladin, for sure. Depending on how vengeful your interpretation of The Lamb is, Iâd say theyâd either have the oath of vengeance (the obvious one) or the oath of the crown, considering they are building a form of civilization and growing a sort of nation. (Or, if their DM allows it, they could also take the oath of throwing it back). As for alignment, Iâd say probably true neutral since the actions of The Lamb really depend on the player. (My Lamb would probably fit into either Lawful Neutral or Chaotic Good, personally.)
The Goat is a BIT trickier, but considering theyâre a darker version of Lamb, itâs safe to say theyâd probably be a warlock. To be frank, Iâm specifically thinking that their Narinder/Patron would (assuming everything in Goatâs universe is darker) be the Great Old One. Specifically the âchained godâ because OBVIOUSLY. As for alignment, same with The Lamb as again, their actions depend mainly on the player. (Though mine personally is Chaotic, through and through)
Leshy would obviously be a Druid, with circle of the land: forest. I say this both because of his entire aesthetic as well as dark wood as a whole. That being said, I do think he would multi class as a Fighter or Monk, since he would probably want to punch someone out (Narinder) in game with little effort needed. I think Leshy would take the fighting style of either Blind Fighting or unarmed fighting depending on whichever he deems more fun useful. If he took the Monk multi class, my guess is he would take the way of the drunken master SIMPLY BECAUSE he would think itâs funny. His alignment would obviously be Chaotic, thatâs nonnegotiable, but Iâd guess heâd probably be Chaotic Neutral. I WOULD say Chaotic good, but letâs be honest, Leshy would just do what he wants when he wants with no care in the world.
Heket is a bit tougher to nail down. I think barbarian is an obvious choice for her, given the state she keeps Anura and the fact that in a famine, people typically go a little insane from hunger since the brain isnât able to get all the calories it needs to keep everything in tiptop shape. But for her potential multi class, itâs a bit trickier. Personally I think she would go with rogue since sheâs a frog and can already jump pretty high to evade enemies. Also because I just think itâd be awesome if she could do those jump-splits to keep out of enemy sight. As for the specific types of barbarian and/or rogue, I think she would either go with beserker barbarian (cause of the more agro attacks she has and the fact she summons two mini bosses when hitting low health) or beast beserker (because she turns into a giant ass frog that would one hit KO if not for the health mechanics). As for the rogue archetype, I donât think she would honestly care all that much, but I think scout fits her best since, once again, Anura would probably require some scouting ahead to keep from getting ambushed. (Anura wasnât the hardest part of the game for me, what are you talking about?). Her alignment would be straight-up lawful. I donât know about what her second alignment would be specifically, but with how her dialogue is structured around her siblings and such it feels hard to imagine she would be anything but lawful to the code and rules they set up together around the old faith.
Kallamar. OOOOHHHH Kallamar, that slimy little squid-bitch. This will be FUN! Right off the bat, heâs a sorcerer. He WOULD be a bard, but I can already tell heâd complain with just about ANY bard archetype. He seems like heâd scream if he plucked a guitar string slightly wrong. So he gets sorcerer! Specifically heâd be a pyromancer sorcerer CAUSE THAT FUCKER ONLY EVER USES FIRE SPELLS IN HIS GOD DAMNED BOSS FIGHT! As for a subclass though, Iâd say probably an artificer since he would probably want enough weapon options to fight and win against any and all of his opponents. Alternatively he might be a cleric since plagues are connected to healing and he most likely has an abundance of medical knowledge. (Iâm thinking specifically peace domain or maybe Knowledge domain since he uses a lot of different weaponry as well) Heâs most definitely a Chaotic/neutral evil character, since his own fear and paranoia around dying led to him betraying his siblings (yes I consider him begging The Lamb to kill his siblings instead of him betrayal).
Shamura would most likely be a wizard/fighter multi class due to them being the god of war and knowledge. For Wizard itâs pretty obviously the War Magic (though Iâd also accept divination) since the subclass has to deal with war in itself. For the divination one, I headcanon that theyâre the one who foresaw the prophecy and told the other bishops, plus seeing how by the time we reach them, they seem to have mostly accepted what their fate is (almost as if they watched everything unfold already before). The fighter subclass is honestly a bit trickier since theyâre already a war wizard, but I think Battle-master fits best since theyâre the god of WAR AND KNOWLEDGE, so theyâd most likely memorize most if not all battle styles AND know how to execute them in combat. Given their loyalty to their siblings and their resolve to uphold the laws of the old faith, Shamura is definitely lawful. Iâm going to take a gander and say that they start out as lawful good but as they lose their mind and siblings theyâd turn more neutral or evil.
Then thereâs the matter of Narinder. Now itâd be easy to make him a necromancies and be on my way, but no⊠I think that heâd fit that class archetype, sure, but Iâm gonna take a gander and say that heâd be a life cleric. Think about it; He made the resurrection ritual! (Aka revivify, raise dead) AND a good chunk of his rituals involve giving/creating things (Harvest ritual, feasting ritual, Holy Day, Oceanâs bounty, etc) which are things typically expected of clerics. Hell if you really want to get into it, Life domain cleric and Necromancer Wizard could be his full on build since both parts have attributes that fit his character as a whole. For himself, he was trying to give life to his following. To his siblings though, he was necromancing about bringing back what should stay buried. I think his alignment would be pretty janky depending on what part of his character arc heâs in. In the beginning I feel like heâs more of a Chaotic Evil character after being locked up for 1000 years, but by the end he feels more like Chaotic Good. So really it would just depend on what strange of character development heâs on.
Okay this is my headcanon, do with it what you wish, and if you have different ideas for their classes or subclasses please lmk cause I think hearing other peopleâs ideas is really cool! Okay byeeeeeeeeee-
