— Custom Headcanons. This blog will use its own headcanons regarding the Minecraft world and the mobs within it. Keep that in mind as you explore!
— Featuring characters. When I draw other’s characters featured on this blog, keep in mind that I’ll likely not use the cubic style! However, if you wish to feature Aze on your blog, you’re free to interpret his design in the cubic style that many use! It was time to move. Who knows how near they could be at this point? Rest can wait. He didn't need it. He'd be fine without it. There was time later to find someplace to stay at.
Like a leaf, tremors surge through the Enderman's body. Reminded of his predicament, his gaze darts between anything he can lay it upon outside of the entrance. Any sound, any movement, he suddenly felt hyper aware of it all.
Why was it brought up? Was there something he wasn't aware of? Something that he had missed? He had been vigilant, he had been careful. Had it not been enough? Was it time to move?
Just as a reminder: This blog will touch upon darker and more sensitive topics. To the best of my ability I will add Content Warnings and Trigger Warnings where I can!

Next update will contain CW Panic Attack, but nothing of a very graphic nature. The pinned post will also update with every CW or TW added.
Silence follows, as the Enderman's gaze remains fixed on the entrance to the cave. The Phantom had since long departed, the flaps of its wings having faded away in the distance. Despite this, it didn't seem to give the Enderman much comfort, at least not enough to allow himself to rest.
[ Mod ]: Since I took a break for like 2-3 years, I have asks that date back to 2021. It feels a bit awkward to use those asks that people sent ages ago, so I'll clear my Askbox of them.
With that said, the Askbox is open for any new asks!
[ Mod ]: Just as a quick note: I won’t write text for every update. Just some here and there when I feel it fits. Mostly because- Pictures speak 1000 words they say. So I’ll try to let them speak for themselves!

Edit 03/01/23: Went back and edited the pictures to give a higher contrast, and more light so that it is easier to see!
The forest is eeriely quiet. The shadows cast by trees, grass, stones and anything hiding… Feel as if they’re about to come to life and attack. Yet he can’t hear anyone or anything. At most he could hear the leaves rustling as a soft breeze passes by.
Softly he’d talk to himself, in an attempt to break the deafening silence. In an attempt to calm his racing mind.
Just move on. Move forward.
Nothing is after him. He knows this.
At least, he’s trying to convince himself of such.
[ Mod ]: Tried to just do a simpler update. Tried to stick to a sketch. But nOPE had to go all out so it took longer than expected. So yeah, guess this is what I might be fighting with. AH WELL. Do note that style is likely to change over time as I’m still figuring stuff out. Never been much for backgrounds, and new to drawing Endermen.
I still might do simpler updates that are just sketches or similar. All depends!

Roaming the night are Phantoms, scavengers feasting upon bodies of the dead.
They're found in groups of anything from three up to eight, yet packs of up to fifteen have been spotted. It is rumoured that larger packs have seen gathering for events such as a plague having struck a village.
Phantoms are drawn to death, and can sense it across great distances. Due to this, they're often seen as bad omens. Some even believe Phantoms are the ones to carry the souls of those who have passed to the Afterlife.

Despite their appearance, Phantoms are not Undead and do not burn in the sunlight. The reason for them avoiding the sunlight is their highly sensitive eyes.
Phantoms out in the sunlight often die due to being blinded and subsequently crashing into something. Despite their reckless dives, their bodies are surprisingly frail.
Phantoms have the ability to mimic the sounds they hear, although in a garbled manner. This has given life to the myth about Phantoms' words always being the words of those who've recently passed. While this is not entirely false, it isn't entirely true either. They are fully capable of mimicing the living just as well as those who've just passed.
Phantoms have quite the bad bite if they were to attack, as they were made to eat corpses and thus can bite through bone.
A phantom's temperament is for the most part curious, unless the target happens to be somebody they consider food. Because of this, if they aren't hunting, you might find yourself having an audience.
Endermen are among the few entities that Phantoms have been seen approaching. The interactions seem to vary depending on the group, and can be anything from friendly to mischievous. However, they seem to harbour less hostility towards Endermen.
Phantoms show a distinct lack of interest in any Undead mobs.
For unknown reasons, Phantoms seem to have a grudge against cats. Often seen staring one another down, or hissing. However Phantoms are quick to leave if a cat gets closer.

[ Mod ]: Been working on the next update but needed a break. So decided to doodle Aze! More specifically, some details that isn’t well shown on the reference.
His current reference isn’t the best and is something I really should try to remake. But for something to start off with it does work! But a future goal is to make a better more detailed ref.
So have some notes:
Aze has a large scar on the right side of his face. He cannot see through his right eye due to the damage, and is also unable to fully open said eye. At most, it’ll open half-way. He is capable of closing it fully though.
He doesn’t necessarily try to hide the scar. It’s a part of him, something that’ll be noticeable whether he wants it to be or not.
He has some fin-like things on his upper back. These are the same as the ones on his lower back/base of tail and end of his tail. These are softer and more flexible.
The ‘fins’ or whatnow to call them, on his upper and lower back, are able to be folded close to his body, or flexed outwards.
The spines on his cheeks and elbows are harder and less flexible than the others. However, they aren’t sharp, just pointy. So unless he put force behind it, he’d not be able to hurt anyone with them.
[ Mod ]: A long overdue icon for the blog! Should’ve done it from the start tbf, but aH WELL. It is done now! Also need to work on some other blog stuff but hey, one step at the time. Have really been enjoying working on this.

I absolutely like the design, the colors are so smooth and pretty to the eyes. Your art is really beautiful.
Mod: You're always your own worst critic, so I mostly see flaws in my art I need to improve. So it's always a boost in confidence when others like what you've made, so thank you!
Especially since character designs is something I adore doing, so makes me extra happy when people say they like them!
