(Legs are my worst enemy but eh. Iâm gonna colour it soon. I wouldâve been done with the lines earlier but my painkiller just knocked me out.)

âMabel are youâŠare you BITING the heads off the gingerbread men and miming their silent screams? Thatâs so messed upâ He laughed  a bit though â..Let me get red icing and you can  make him bleed too~â

âNo Mabel, Iâve never met a dinosaur before, but yes, lets have it be a gingerbread t-rex attack~â He moved to assemble the house, making sure it would stand up nice and straight without cracking.
âI met a dinosaur once. It hatched out of an egg and ate Old Man McGucket.â Mabel said cheerfully, squeezing icing from the piping bag onto one of the T-rexes. It was followed with some edible glitter. âAnd Grunkle Stan punched a pterodactyl in the face! Good times.âÂ
With the dinosaur drying, Mabel grabbed some of the candy and icing to help finish the house and decorate it. âCan we put glitter on the house too?â

âYes, and oh my gosh, thatâs a great idea!â Mabel grinned maybe a little too broadly at his suggestion. âWe should set up a gingerbread man massacre with the gingerbread house.â She looked back at her tasty victim. âTake that, little cookie man! I could catch you!â
He chuckled and got out the  icing. âYes, yes yes, The house is built, letâs see how grizzly of a scene we can make eh? Lets be creative with our mayhem!â
âWho should be the murderer? One of the gingerbread men or one of the gingerbread dinosaurs?â Mabel asked, beginning to arrange the cookies out on the tray theyâd set the house up on. âHave you ever met a dinosaur before?â She wondered.

Moving Blogs
(Hi everyone! So, Iâve decided Iâm going to move blogs. Iâm so grateful to everyone who has been so patient with me over the past months. I know I can be a bit of a frustrating downer, especially with all the health problems Iâve been having. Things are starting to sort out a little now, so thatâs good.
Iâve been having a lot of trouble still with my self confidence and esteem, and Iâve decided the best thing to do is start over. Iâll leave this blog up for archive purposes, but Iâll be moving over to a new blog in a day or so. Iâm finishing setting it up (and drawing a header) and then Iâll link to it here. Iâm going to try to be more active when I do, and Iâm happy to continue any threads we had here at the new blog.
P.S. anyone have good suggestions for foods with minimal chewing until my jaw feels better?)
(I have had a migraine that kept coming back for the last 72 hours. Ive gone through 3 migraine pills, 4 ibuprofen, and made myself sick drinking caffeine in desperation. Itâs receded again for now. But who knows how long that will last, and I still donât feel good. My jaw has seized up really bad again too.
But hey, the rest of my body isnât in too much pain, so itâs not all bad! :)
In other news, Iâm thinking of making a new blog for Mabel. Like. Just starting over. Iâve been so stressed with my low self esteem and constant worry that Iâm annoying people, so I am thinking of starting over. Maybe make some icons, a coherent verse page and try to be a little more confident, since Iâm really struggling to pull myself out of this spiral.
Anyone got ideas for naming the new blog?)

âReally? I didnât know that.â Mabel said, her eyes going wide at this new tidbit of information. Of course, she wouldnât know any better if he was wrong, and besides, Ar seemed like a smart guy. She was certain he knew what he was talking about. âWell, the sunâs west right now, so which way is the wind going now?â
She turned her head, trying to determine the exact direction of the breeze.
If the way the wind was causing his robes to flap continuously wasnât a sign the wind was coming out of the East, he didnât know what was.
âWind coming out of the East or South is colder and stronger than it would be from the North or West.â He pointed over the dark horizon to the East, where the wind was strongest from. âI think itâs a good indication Fall is coming soon, from what I can tell.â
"That's good. It's tough keeping cool without air conditioning." Mabel said brightly. "And I bet plants will grow better if there's more water!"
Of course, after fall would come winter, and Mabel hated the cold. But it was a lot easier to warm up than keep cold. Hopefully they'd have prepared enough through the fall to survive the winter with relative ease.

âThatâd be so great.â Mabel said, leaning back to stare up at the glittering stars overhead. âI had no idea the stars were so pretty till we came out here. I mean, like, I knew you were supposed to be able to see more of them, but itâs so cool out here.â
