According to people who work with code, this may actually be able to close a 911 call because Trump wants to send a fundraiser email through it.

It also seems like it will go off, sound and vibration, whenever someone posts. Trump is awake at 2 AM. You will not be able to shut off your phone or stop the noise until you handle this. It will also drain your battery by being a surprise 2 AM noisemaker.

Don't put it on your phone. It's actually stealing less data than I expected (I mean, yes, OBVIOUSLY it's tracking your location and sending that to any cop who's bored, but it isn't taking any credit card info, so hey, that's nice), but it still can access and fuck up anything saved on your phone, record any unlocking method you use including fingerprint and face, and seems to want to do so to force you to suddenly have an explosion of noise.

Again: this may extend to dropping a call for an ambulance.

April Fool’s Day is also … Loki’s Day Today, once again, something about paganism. In the English-speaking pagan community, April 1 is by some regarded as the day of the Norse deity Loki – no wonder, as the day is associated with pranks, jokes or simply lies, and all of that naturally fits with Loki. In this community, Loki is also often associated with queerness, so it is certainly no surprise that he plays an important role for many queer pagans. Loki has, in some quarters of the pagan community, a very bad reputation and is sometimes viewed more or less as an equivalent to the Christian devil – as a mythological person who instigates nothing but chaos. However, this often overlooks the fact that whilst this trickster does indeed cause chaos and disorder in the myths, he subsequently creates value for other Norse deities through creative solutions, for example by procuring certain things for them. I have been a devotee of Loki for a couple of years now – no, not the Marvel version; the creators of that god in the respective comics, films and the series have taken several artistic liberties when compared to the original Norse mythology.

If you’d like to explore Loki and his myths from a pagan perspective, and English isn’t a language barrier for you, I can highly recommend this book: “Pagan Portals: Loki – Trickster and Transformer” by Dagulf Loptson.

In my novel “Hexen in Hamburg: Vergoldet” (only available in German), Loki also plays a significant role. (This novel is due to be published in June 2026.)
