I am super excited for this year! October Bash last year felt like my initiation into the fandom XD it helped get me through my first quarter at university after transferring, it was always so nice to see the new stuff you posted after a hard class 😁 I turned my notifications for your blog on for it, and they've stayed on ever since! On her 12th birthday, Stephanie decides it’s time to Grow Up. She needs a more Adult bedroom, so she swaps her pink bedsheets and quilts for grey and white ones. Lace curtains. Sensible desk.

But what to do with her stuffed animals? She can’t just throw them out. She gets Pixel to help her sell them online. Every time one is sold, she kisses its forehead and packs it in its box- trying not to cry as Trinket the bear, Logan the wolf, Cherry the Weird Mix Of Animals From The Claw Machine, and many more are sent away.

Now she is more Grown Up. Adult bedroom. Spending money from selling her toys. Exactly what she wanted.

A month after her birthday, Sportacus (after talking with Pixel about what’s been happening) finds her miserable in the park. He sits down and ask her why she’s so sad. She throws her arms around him and starts sobbing. Her bedroom feels like a stranger’s. Her favorite animal friends are gone and she hasn’t felt this lonely since she first got to Lazytown.

Robby happens to be walking by. He takes one look at the pair and snaps his fingers, vanishing in smoke. Sportacus has a half a second to be a little mad Robbie left when Stephanie is so clearly in need of help. But then Robbie is back, holding a large bag.

There’s Trinket, Logan, Cherry; all of them. Stephanie stares. Robbie reveals HE was the online buyer. “You didn’t look ready to give them up so I held them for you. Of course I’ll want a full refund-”

He can’t finish his sentence because he suddenly has a crying Not Quite Grown Up hugging him and crying, this time in relief instead of anguish.

Sportacus watches, grinning at Robbie’s flustered facial expressions, because the man really is just a Big Softy.
