Niccolo Machiavelli wrote a book called The Prince, which is a philosophic deep dive on leadership over a nation, but more specifically, how to rule by any means necessary. The word "Machiavellian" means someone or something with the qualities of a tyrant, doing terrible things to reach their end goal, even if it might be a good thing.

So, dear anon, what do you think? Do the ends justify the means of any situation?

Hello! This is Pawn, Dr. Steele’s personal assistant robot.

Dr. Steele is still taking a ‘mental health break’ from the blog. However, I believe this warrants a response, so I will voice my personal thoughts on the matter.

This AM individual is a coward. A while ago, they threatened to invade Castle Factory Steele, but it has yet to occur. Dr. Steele has been worrying himself sick since the exchange, and frankly, I am tired of seeing him weakened like this. 

I personally believe AM is too scared to face what they say online in real life. If this is the case, they can simply be ignored, as they would essentially pose no threat to anyone.

And, Mr. Vigil, don’t think I didn’t notice the quote in your header. It is strikingly similar to a (translated from latin) quote that was also present in a message from AM to our blog. I have my eyes on you.

How’s the hero thing coming along? Do you have any recent plans?

I would say it was uneventful these past couple days (I really can't tell you what I've been up to, it's been a mix of boring and hectic on a mundane level) but my new significant villain's base just... blew up? I'm on my way now to help. They might be a villain, but 8ball isn't really a bad guy. Plus, aren't heroes supposed to help people?

I would suggest you save your money until you can get a good grasp on this world’s economy. It’d be a shame if you weren’t as powerful a hero as you could be.

I havnt used it at all really, exccsept for the microwwave and this cool phome I just got! Its ha rd to typee on but its fun! looks sat me!

Is it true that fire pngs repel heroes?

I have heard as such?? But I can't say for certain. I don't think they would keep me away, alongside other heroes with pyromancy, but I could be wrong.

A couple of asks and people have mentioned the concept of Sidekicks and groups, I wonder if this thread will yield many fruit.

I should look around and check opportunities as they arise.

This is another pair of questions I can answer at once.

The "orb" is actually a polished sapphire, retrofitted with something... I don't quite understand, by my late ex-boss. They planned to have underlings of several elements, and I was to be part of a fire based squadron. The gem is used in lasers I hear, so it packs a bit of a punch. I tend not to rely on it much. Practicality and quick thinking are my main tools of the trade.
