i feel like recent kids movies are trying to get away with as much adult humor/language as they can for cheap laughs while still being on the verge of PG.

Why not just make it PG-13 if it suits the story better?

#and i'm specifically talking about kid MOVIES #because the 1-2hr run time is within a far restrictive timeframe than series and shows #at least it made it sense when foul languaged was used as having double meaning #you can just tell when they're trying to add crude humor for the sake of it #while also keeping it pg #why not just make it pg-13 if it's pushing back your story too much #that was one of my issues with the transformers one movie #i'd argue that even Watership Down used disturbing themes correctly to convey the destruction of wildlife #those shock scenes weren't out of nowhere #but kid movies today have nothing to bring to the table but a quick laugh or nudge to older audiences #italktrash

It is a shame that I have an original comic I'm working on and have written a few chapters that take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It's supposed to be about a fun vacation complimenting how amazing it is (like I do to every place), but with all the incidents that have happened since the last years, I'm considering cancelling it. But I also don't. It saddens me because it's my home and I want to show it has wonderful things too.

No. At this point, all 3 locations I've included in my og stories have been through major conflicts recently in real life, news that the average american knows by now, so... I give up. I'll write the story without worrying about the locations as much. The whole world has problems :/

To get rid of my artblock, I looked through all of my transformers-related notebooks/sketchbooks, There's ton of comics I made over the years, so I had plenty of stories to remake and get inspiration from!
