The Fantastic Mr. Fox movie does an amazing job at capturing how being “ different “ feels like , specially in a family setting . I’m still not over the fact that my parents will never get to know who I am , that I have to spend the rest of my existence living a double life , playing a role infront of them and suppressing my self .

1. 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙣 - 𝙏𝙤𝙬𝙖 𝘽𝙞𝙧𝙙

𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙚: 15th May

- The singles released from this album have all been 5/5. It’s so unconventional compared to ‘American Hero’ which was still a phenomenal album. The snippet for ‘Dog’ sounds excellent and I needed it on Spotify like yesterday. I really like the direction her music is going and I’m super excited for more. I also adore the concept, I wish I could embody that aesthetic.

- Their music never disappoints and that’s all I need to say. I expect a remarkable beat with a strong rap and I’ll be obsessed with it all year round. Although, I don’t see ‘Delulu’ on the track list, tell me they didn’t forget about it.

3. 𝘿𝙤 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝘼𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣 - 𝙈𝙖𝙡𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙢 𝙏𝙤𝙙𝙙

𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙚: 5th June

- Being an OG Malcolm Todd fan I’ve loved his advancement in production quality. The singles are incredible with ‘Breathe’ being my personal fav (and has been on my on repeat since it came out). I’m just always eager for any new Malcolm music. I predict his inner freaky is going to come out and I hope we get another ‘Comfort me’ kind of track.

4. 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙢 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙮 𝙨𝙖𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙜𝙞𝙧𝙡 𝙨𝙤 𝙞𝙣 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 - 𝙊𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙖 𝙍𝙤𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙤

- Honestly I didn’t really like ‘drop dead’ it had some good parts but overall didn’t stick to me. Though I won’t let that one track make me any less keen for this release. She just has a way with words and I loved her pop-rock in ‘GUTS’. I don’t think that this album will have any rock influence but who knows? (Rip to that iconic era you will forever be missed). I still do really enjoy her emotional songs which is what I’m desiring to get out of this album. I have a immense feeling that the lyrics will make me ball into tears.

- ‘Life isn’t fair’ is genuinely probably one of my fav songs ever. His music is so unique, I’m optimistic about what they’ve been cooking up with this one.

This was such a pleasure to watch. The atmosphere, the costumes, the dialogue, the acting and the plot are all distinct aspects of the show. The characters are well rounded, diverse and their relationships are engaging. The chemistry between Thomas and Maia is unmatched. The yearning, tension and romance (especially in season 2) was effectively developed. It is such an adrenaline rush watching each episode. The series was immersive and captivated me from start to finish. The genre shift from mystery, crime, drama and romance flowed smoothly. I absolutely adore the exploration of social classes and the commentary on 1800’s politics.

I’ll stop glazing now, my main problem with the show is its pacing. In a world full of quick-moving series, this fits right in. For some story lines this works, it highlights and enhances the unpredictability and reckless energy of criminal activity. But becomes a weakness when the plot shifts to an emotional perspective. I wish that we got to really explore Jack Dawkins spiraling in season 1. The ex-criminals doubts suddenly disappeared within 40 minutes which slightly disconnects me from him as a character. Ultimately, His arc doesn’t feel meaningful when he speedily regains his morals.

Also just another random note, the song choices are so random sometimes. When they were ballroom dancing to a violin cover of cheap thrills I genuinely lost it.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this series and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. It is an eclectic mix with various genres, amazing characters and a compelling plot. I am desperate for season 3.
