So looks like a scammer got ahold of @onetwothreefor 's account.

If you get a message from them, probably best to ignore it. Maybe repot it too? Idk. They want you to go on Discord to resolve me. My ass refuses to learn another social media site 😂 so if this some how is actually real(I doubt it) andvmy blog gets nuked, just add 26 on the end of my username and that'll be my new account lol

If you've fallen for this scam and lost your Tumblr account, don't panic. Here's what you should do:

1.) Contact the real Tumblr support at https://www.tumblr.com/support and explain what happened. Don't try to contact them more than once, or it might be mistaken for spam. They should respond with a week.

2.) You will first get a confirmation email from Tumblr support, then later a proper message. They will ask for your account name, your email, and the email it was changed to. They will restore your proper email, allowing you to reset your password and get your account back.

3.) Don't panic if you see your account is deactivated. Mine was temporarily deactivated too after contacting support.

4.) Once you get your account back, check your messages. The scammer will have likely used your account to try to con more people while they had it.

5.) Change your passwords just to be safe, especially Email and Discord. Unless of course you already have different passwords for everything.

Hi everyone, I have another scam PSA (unfortunately).

If you receive a reply like this one under any post, demanding to speak to you urgently regarding some vague "important issue regarding your account," and claiming they couldn't message you, do NOT message them for more information. This is a scam, and they speak like that & refuse to elaborate just to scare you enough that you message them and can't think rationally because you're worried about your account, and end up listening to everything they say.

I checked this person's account - they only follow tumblr staff & they have no posts other than several reblogs made in a row only 1 hour ago. This is clearly a new account made for the purpose of scamming users.

I am just as tired as everyone else of these scammers, but please report & block any of these comments. Stay safe and spread awareness, everyone.

ATTENTION ALL TUMBLR READERS AND WRITERS!!! There is a scam going around ,where you would recieve a message from someone saying they falsely reported you for something. They'll tell you to appeal it through discord because it'll be easier. ITS A SCAM. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!! I was too stupid to catch on and I was hacked. I just gained access to my account again after a week or so. Please spread the word and be careful. I don't want anyone else to go through this. there's a scam where a person dms you apologizing for falsely reporting you and sending you to a discord to appeal and talk to tumblr support do not do it they ask for your account to and give you a temporary password to lock u out it and change it and ask you to pay to complete the process even tho they show you pictures and everything. IT'S FAKE they just want money and acces to your account to do the same thing to everyone else you follow know or interact with. I don't remember there user but there 19 with a red blog and a anime girl pfp. I should have caught on faster it was to early to process much but i caught on at some point

please spread the word for me. I did not know this was a thing I'm so deeply sorry to anyone that its affected already on account of my name I also blocked my previous name as well as deleteing that account so they should loose access to using it further hopefully so it's there but inactive just don't think it's me

I do plan to continue posting my previous content about katseye and such at some point I'll figure it its just annoying bc i put a lot time into that page to make it a safe place not just for myself but others. Again, like the OP said, it's FAKE.

NO ONE reported you.

Your account is NOT getting blocked.

Tumblr DOESN'T take reports via discord.

The email screenshot is FAKE.

It's impossible to have the same pfp and/or blog handle. So NO ONE has the same pfp/handle as you.

The "I'm sorry" is made you feel apologetic. It's supposed to make you feel bad and think "I have to do everything they say to make them feel better". And if you fell for it, it's not your fault. You're not stupid. You're just a good empathetic person.

And then "your account will be blocked within 12 hours" this is made to make you panic. When you're panicking, you're not thinking straight.

So now you feel bad, apologetic, stupid, scared, worried, and panicked. And that's when they get you.

Be careful. Think things through don't be impulsive.

A Tumblr user called me saying they reported my account by accident and I needed to call a Tumblr support on Discord: Jarell Perry (this Tumblr user account was already hacked, now I know that)

Then I called this guy on Discord. I was desperate cause in the "warning" said my account would be blocked in 24 hours. But the whole conversation was REALLY strange, even more when he gave me, OUT OF NOWHERE, his "certificate":

He asked, then, for me to change my email and I was like "what kind of support would ask this crap?"

Besides my suspicions, TWO things saved me to fall for this shit:

>>> The original person that called me was hacked: I even went a little further and searched the tumblr user on Google (I needed to contact them some other way to confirm the message) and, guess what, they have an Instagram account AND A NEW TUMBLR ACCOUNT, cause the first one was HACKED!! THE ONE THAT WAS TALKING WITH ME!!! (Here is the post explaining it, also consider to follow this artist, their art is amazing! The NEW and SAFE account is @cypher-030)

THEN, I reported both the scammers and blocked them! Apparently, the hacked Tumblr account that called me is already banned at the time I write this warning! But must be more of them!

Please watch out for this Tumblr scam </3

I know it’s not new, but I thought I’d make a post on it!

If a user messages you, says they reported you, and asks you to send a friend request to a guy named “elituckertumblrr” on Discord, it means they got hacked! Please don’t message him, it’s a fake account </3

Or any variation of “____ Tucker”!

Apparently there’s also a “Carl Tucker” out there as well?

Personally, I’d try to find other accounts of theirs that aren’t on Tumblr if you’re able to, and let them know they were hacked. But if they already know, and are taking steps to deal with it, then it’d be best to move on.

BUT if you do message Eli Tucker on Discord, he’ll ask for your username, DOB, and country. Then he’ll ask for you to change your email to some Outlook email. DO NOT DO IT. That’s how they get access to your account.

For next steps, Tumblr suggests you to report the account who messaged you for “spam”.

But yeah! Please stay safe online and be weary on why someone is messaging you <3

Scammers are gaining access to legit/established accounts and messaging their followers/people they've previously dm'd to steal money/access to their accounts. This is important because one of the accounts they STOLE @/yetacomis does legit commissions! We've shared email/payment info and she's done this commission for me.

They will contact you telling you that they've reported you and that they've got their friends to report you too in order to scare you. They may even mention they mistook you for another user or provide a fake case number.

Here are the fake/doctored images they sent:

How can you protect yourself?

1. Tumblr will NEVER ask you to contact them via discord for account disputes. If you are banned/suspended/in violation of a rule an automated email will come from a tumblr dot com email address. Any communication with a human is user initiated and comes from their zendesk ticketing system.

2. Turn on 2FA (2-Factor Authentication). This way if you are scammed they will not immediately gain access. Tumblr will NEVER ask for your 2FA code. NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR 2FA CODE!!!

Ironically enough I received this message literally 10 minutes before I saw a dm from my moot @ramonathinks telling me she got something similar from a different account @/carlkojee. Here is what she received:

Please comment below any additional compromised accounts and I will add them here.

Here is the list so far:
