my complaint w. tumblr : the tags
Awesome news, the porn that was spam posted to my blog was removed by the time I woke up this morning. But because of what happened, another issue came to mind and that's the tags.
The tagging feature on tumblr sucks.
I have a blacklist app and i blacklisted porno and other stuff that i could possibly think of that i DON'T want to see. Yet it's totally useless because i see them anyway. "Why"? Because no one tags anything properly.
I like tumblr more compared to other blogs because it's a whole lot easier to meet and be in contact with others. And the fact that it revolves more around pictures and graphics is especially attractive.
Tumblr's basically a picture-blog community site. And it's a lot of fun.
But there should be better moderation for more mature material on the site.
Even if you, personally, don't care about what a 10 year old sees in this day and age, there are still some people who "don't want to see it" even if they're 50-something years old and have seen enough of it in real life to not care. I know it's the year 2013 and many people (sadly) don't care much for these types of things anymore (at least in America there are far too many who don't --andmaybefrancecough). But this is a matter of preference here. XD And even if it's not porn, there are other things that I also don't want to see on my dashboard.
Yes, I got several tagging and blacklisting apps, but as I've mentioned before, they're all completely useless because soooo many people don't tag their stuff properly. So whether it's porn, nudity, or even something as simple as posts of a series you don't like; you're forced to see it regardless unless you end your friendship with some people and be extremely picky with whoever it is you decide to follow.
I seriously think that tumblr needs to moderate the site better. People who put up mature content should label it as such. And people should learn to tag their stuff better. I don't tag my stuff because no one's subscribed to me besides 2 - 3 friends @-@; But for my other blogs where I do expect an audience, I do tag seriously. So, yes, tumblr.. please work on these issues.. -__-; P.S. - it'd be nice if there was a way to filter post-types for specific people. Like, if you're following someone but you don't want to see their "picture posts", but you do wanna see their "text posts" in case they wanna talk or something happens or you actually care about what they have to say about life. So.. a way to block their picture-posts but continue receiving everything else to my dashboard in the case that the tagging issue can never be resolved since you can't really "force" people to tag against their will. Would also be awesome if there was a checkbox of some sort that you could select if you are posting mature content. And a way to filter out mature content from the media you see on the site while logged in. Most picture/gallery/art sites have this feature. Since tumblr's like a "picture-blog" / "media-blog", I don't understand why this feature was never added to the site over the past year or so.

A co-op event between one of my fave fashion brands: Putumayo and otome game: Amnesia NOTE:: This is -NOT- ” cosplay “. (Though you could use it for cosplay if you wanted to..) The whole point of this co-op event was to make “new” outfits ”based on” the characters from the game / series. These “new” adaptations of the characters’ outfits are based off of the clothing style of Putumayo’s brand (which is usually: Punk, Punk-Lolita, and Punk-casual) So if you look carefully, all the outfits have been fashionably modified into something a bit “new”. These are clothes “inspired" by the characters of the games / series which they came from.

ahahaha i agree with you, aozo-kun. I like Orion's outfit best and I'd love to own it and wear it. This is more my style of clothing irl. xD But I also really love Toma and Shin's outfits. I'd buy those too and wear it to go out daily if I could. LOL. Ukyo's is also quite nice. But it looks a bit business oriented because of the fancy jacket and tie.

Plus it's bondage. sighhhhhhhhh..... of all the things. there were several others who got porn and nudity on their blogs too. none of us can delete it though. hope the dev team fixes that because there's no way i'm keeping a blog with porno on it. if someone clicks the random button on my blog and that image pops up... sigh...........
MAJOR PROBLEM :: Was my account hacked?
Last night I could not post anything. And everything I was trying to reblog was also not being reblogged.
Now when I wake up I can make posts just fine.
But when I go to check out one of my blogs I find a BUNCH of reblogs that I did -NOT- make.
I see reblogs of random stuff I wouldn't reblog "including" porn. ;A; !!
Worst part is, I CAN'T DELETE ANY OF THEM.
What's going on? Can someone help me with this? ;w; *cries*

eeee no.3!!! we should like do that. pause scenes, and draw them LOL. Which were your favourite anime to draw xD. (and no wonder your old sketches had such scary likeness to canon art lol)
LOL. XD did it really? hahahahahaha There was a video store that had a large collection of anime. Plus many of the libraries in New York at the time had a collection of anime and manga to rent. Then there's also China town which sold anime vids at a cheap price. So I had a lot of sources to use.
My favorite ones (and the ones I used the most) were:

Digimon
Cardcaptor Sakura <- drew this quite often
Moncolle Knights (an anime most ppl probly don't remember)
the Slayers <- this is the one I drew the "most". it was my fave series as a kid. i specifically loved the movies and OVA series which contained Naga as Lina's partner.
.hack//SIGN <- i used the last 4 eps as reference. i bought it at chinatown. xD drew from this quite often too. it's the one i remember the most outside of the Slayers
Saber Marionette J <- also loved this
Tenchi Muyo, Universe, and In Tokyo (but for these, i think i mostly used the manga..)
.hack//DUSK <- i loved this as a kid. with an insane passion. so I spent months straight drawing from this one. xD
.hack//GAMES <- from Infection to Quarantine, you could unlock wallpaper in-game to use for your game-menu/screen. i'd draw from that for hours at a time.
.hack//LIMINALITY <- also drew from this quite often.
I also remember doing a lot of Beyblade.
And for the record, DBZ was too difficult. xD
And for Sailor Moon, by the time I learned how to use a VCR this way, it was already taken off of TV.
P.S. - i forgot i did wear a dress once in 8th grade. it was a chinese dress and only for graduation day. but i was covered in my graduation robe the whole time i wore it so i always felt like it didn't really count. xD hahaahaha

1. Eyeshield 21 is my fave sports manga (and possibly manga in general) thus far.
2. I got into Death Note specifically because I recognized the artist of the series is the same one who drew Hikaru no Go (which I was a big fan of at the time).
3. When I was little, I used to record episodes of anime on tv with my VCR. Then I would play them back on the tape, pause them at a scene I liked. And draw them. I did this for hours and for years. It was a lot of fun. lol xD (i was that much of an anime addict...) Ah.. youth.. like the scent of fresh lemons. rofl.
4. I'm a huge fan of Rinko Ueda..-san. XD
5. I haven't worn a dress since elementary school. lol
