i get so emotional about matt bishop regularly like imagine being an f1 journalist in the 90 and then working in f1 in the early 2000s and being very much the only out person in the whole paddock and then your team signs the first black driver ever and you bond over being minorities in the paddock and lewis goes on to break records and starts speaking up about more and more things including lgbt issues and you come back to f1 and work with seb who also starts speaking up more and more and you have these extremely visible allies who do all this of their own volition like imagine!!

going from getting called the f slur in the paddock by a driver to having the two most successfull drivers in the paddock wearing rainbows and speaking up about lgbt+ rights vocally!! matt won’t stop saying how proud he is to work with seb and i know progress is slow but there IS progress
