I don’t know if you watch it, but the Politician just came out with a season two and it’s pretty fun to watch. Otherwise, unasked for self promo, but Stranger Things is pretty good too.
Stranger Things was one of my binge-watches. Very binge-watch worthy. As for The Politician... oh man. I need to get on that. Thanks for the reminder. Ben would kill me if he knew that I hadn’t seen it yet.
Okay. So here’s the biggest favor that a person can ask. I am running out of series to watch. I have worked my way through five of them since March, and I’m in desperate need of something new. So... lay it on me. The best binge-worthy shows you’ve got. | @hollywoodland-hqs

This week I decided to make the executive decision to move back to my own house. Given everything that’s been going on, I thought it best to stay with my parents for a few months. Now I’m back home, I wondered how I ever lived on my own in the first place. Why do I suddenly find myself missing my mum’s home-cooked meals and the bunk beds that are too small for me in my old room? The petty arguments over toothpaste, and the insistence on a family quiz almost every other night? I don’t want things going back to normal again. @hwlstart
I’ve been living on my own in New York for a while now, but I’ve gotta admit... there’s nothing in the world like a home-cooked meal. And there’s something really odd about the way that mothers make it, too. Even with a recipe, following it to the letter, it doesn’t taste the same if Mom didn’t make it. I had a bit of a rough start to the quarantine, though better than most in my position, but it’s getting to be a new normal. I think we’re all wondering what our jobs are going to look like on the other side of this, but... hey. It’ll happen. As an aside... I really appreciate your work, man. I’m a fan.

Why do bubbles instantly turn me into a kid again? My mom always told me that each bubble I popped was a wish that would come true. [ @hwlstart ]
Because bubbles are the greatest invention that anyone has ever had. Takes me right back to being a kid, too. Like... if I shut my eyes, I can still even remember what it tastes like if you got some of the bubble juice in your mouth.
