@aaron-duane
Saved by the Belle || Aaron & Lottie
Lottie helped the woman out of the building and into her red mustang in front of it. She closed the door and leaned against it arms folded “What makes you think I trust you?” She tilted her head slightly scanning him up and down in the better light “You almost killed yourself in there! Why on earth would you not fight properly against a vampire!” she bit her tongue looking away “It’s like you’ve got a suicide wish!”
Aaron held his arms up defensively. "Woah. I never said I was a great fighter. I just did what I could in there." A suicide wish? He had no idea what had prompted her to say that.
Aaron could feel his sense of unease growing as the adrenaline from the fight faded away. "Look, I appreciate your help. Let's just get the woman to the hospital, okay?"
i wanna reboot this though
it was going really nicely :'[
Saved by the Belle || Aaron & Lottie
Lottie scanned the room humming before kneeling down to the woman. “They haven’t had a snack on her yet. So no worries of her turning into a blood thirsty beast of the night.” She raised herself up. “I will go get a blanket from my car.” A few moments passed before Lottie returned and wrapped a tartan blanket round the woman. "Yes. But I don’t like to kill everything soon as I see it." Putting her arm around the opposite shoulder Lottie spoke quietly "I believe some can be helped." Lottie raised an eyebrow. She knew he was capable of helping the woman. "Why don’t you trust me?" Her eyes scanned him up and down "I can promise you. You can trust me!"
Using his arms to support the unconscious woman, Aaron started to get her up the stairs. With the help of Lottie, they managed to get her onto the ground floor. He planned to get the woman into Lottie's car so that they could drive her to the hospital. But he still had a growing sense of unease.
"What makes you think I don't trust you?"
Saved by the Belle || Aaron & Lottie
Lottie blinked at the light shinning in her eyes and raised a hand to shield herself a bit. “Nice to meet you Aaron.” She held out her delicate hand and grinned “You should be more carefully walking into dangerous places could get you killed!” Wincing at his attacked Charlotte applauded “Nice to know you can use a machete.” She laughed “Even if you did a terrible job!” The hunter scanned him and nodded “You owe me. But I will not make you do anything. Saving people is kinda what I do.” Bouncing on her feet she tilted her head an smiled at him “You know you shouldn’t waste all your energy so quickly. Plan your attacks that way you won’t be swinging a knife round like a mad man!” "I don’t mind helping you." She pulled her keys out her pocket. "As long as you clean the car afterwards."
The more Lottie spoke, the more Aaron began to have doubts about accepting her help. Sure, she appeared to be a capable hunter, but she seemed a little too positive, especially since there was a woman in front of them who was in dire need of medical attention. He wasn't exactly suspicious of her motives, but Aaron felt a growing urge to keep one eye open at all times.
"So, you're a hunter, right?" He asked, moving to pick up the unconcious woman. He put her arm around his shoulder and lifted her up, waiting for Lottie to give him a hand. He could have moved the woman by himself, if he had to, but also wanted to know more about Charlotte. She seemed like someone who could potentially mess things up, and not because she was incompetent.
Injured || Aaron & Damon
Damon shrugs, a soft smile tugging at his lips. Without a reply he pulls his hand back and stands from the bed, moving to at least pull his pants back on before turning to face Aaron again. “Your loss.”
Aaron stretched out a little, then got up and put some clothes back on. "Is it okay if I stay here tonight?" he asked. Despite not wanting to admit it, he was exhausted and weak. Aaron was also wondering if Damon planned to stay, or go. Where did demons sleep? Did they sleep? He still had many unanswered questions.
Saved by the Belle || Aaron & Lottie
Charlotte heard the sounds of a fight and decided she better attack now. She rose from her hiding spot carefully making sure not to make a noise. Adrenaline started coursing through her body and she was ready for them. As she made her way down the rusted stairs she saw the light. Damn another hunter to contend with. The belle grinned as he managed to decapitate one but soon started frowning as he was losing the fight. She quickly and silently appeared behind the Vampires and tapped one on the shoulder “Excuse me but do you know where the toilet is?” As the vampires started on her Charlotte’s skill in hand to hand combat showed as she cleanly took ones head off. As the other vampire came at her she quickly pinned in down and held him on the floor “You know what. I’m a good person so, if you tell me everything you have done here and whether there is anymore I may just let you get out alive?” The vampire hissed and spat at her “I do not make deals with scum” Charlotte shrugged “So you want to have a new haircut I guess?” She lifted the Vampire up to its feet and chained it up. She turned to Aaron and held out her hand “You know you really shouldn’t walk into a vampires nest with a gun” The hunter smiled reassuringly “My name Charlotte Taylor. But call me Lottie.” The brown hair woman gestured towards the Vampire “Do you want to do the honours?”
Aaron scrambled to his feet, picking his gun up off the ground. He shone the light onto the face of his rescuer, and found himself staring into the eyes of a young, brown-haired woman. Still partially in shock from the close call he'd just had, the hunter gave her a nervous grin and put his gun away. "I'm Aaron," he said.
He picked up the machete and turned to face the vampire that the girl - Lottie - had chained up. It growled at him, but said nothing.
Holding the large blade in two hands, Aaron swung at the vampire, unable to hide his contempt. Its head did not come off cleanly, the neck was broken but not completely severed. Still, the vampire was dead. "I really owe you one," he said, looking back at Charlotte. Then he sighed, suddenly feeling exhausted.
"She's alive," he said, gesturing to the woman chained to the wall. "We need to get her to a hospital. You don't mind helping me, do you?"
Saved by the Belle || Aaron & Lottie
The hunter pushed the door open and slowly walked through the building. Her light shone far enough that she could see everything she was walking into. As she walked across the disgusting and vile floor, she studied the area. It seemed like she had stumbled across something that didn’t think much of sunlight. Once she reached the stairs she heard the door open. Her inner monologue sighed “Oh great they’re back!” Swiftly and quietly she found a hiding spot and threw rubbish over herself trying to disguise her scent. She breathed in deeply holding her machete close. By the amount of footsteps there where about 3 vampires all walking downstairs. “Should I attack or should I wait?” The voice inside her head debated the options as she contemplated the chances of her winning a battle against three. Just as she was in mid thought of attack she was startled to hear a commotion from below.
The vampires were back. From where he stood, it sounded like more than one, but he couldn't be sure. Aaron switched his gun to the other hand, and pulled his machete from his jacket. The gun would slow down the vampires, hopefully, as he had it loaded with the usual silver-iron bullets, but as far as he knew the only way to put down a vampire for good was decapitation, and that was a lot harder than it sounded. He'd certainly never been able to manage it in one clean strike. A master swordsman with a katana could manage it, he thought, grimacing.
There didn't appear to be anywhere to hide in the basement. And even if there was, any vampire could smell his blood a mile off. I should use more deodorant, he thought. See if that helps.
The hunter could feel his heart beat faster as the footsteps hit the rusted stairs. They were coming. Resolving to fight, Aaron made sure the gun's safety was off. But gunshots, in the middle of town? Not a good idea. At the sound of gunshots, the police would show up, and then things would get incredibly messy. Beginning to panic, Aaron searched his pockets for the silencer. As quietly as he could, he backed into a corner, still fumbling with the gun.
He had just barely dealt with the silencer when the vampires arrived in the basement, three in total. They saw him immediately and sprung forwards. Aaron emptied his gun into the first, and, as it retreated, tried to take the head of the second, missing by a few inches.
The third vampire grabbed his gun arm and sank its teeth in. Aaron yelled and dropped the gun, but thankfully the light stayed on. It was just enough that the hunter was able to remove the head of the one that was biting him, but in the time it took the other two crashed into him and pinned him to the ground.
He tensed, waiting for the death blow, but it didn't arrive. Instead, he heard a male voice growl "What do you think? Should we turn him?" Upon hearing this, Aaron thrashed under their grip, but it was no good. He couldn't move a muscle.
Saved by the Belle || Aaron & Lottie
Gritting his teeth, Aaron kicked down the door of an abandoned building. He was in the bad side of town, and although countless unpleasant smells permeated the air, the scent of blood was still unmistakable as he entered. The hunter had a tiny LED torch clipped to his gun, which he turned on to illuminate the room he'd found himself in. At first, it seemed deserted as far as supernatural activity was concerned. Gun at the ready, Aaron crossed the floor, stepping over dirty magazines and empty junk food containers. At the other side, he reached two sets of stairs, one leading up, the other heading down.
He shone the torch up, but couldn't see anything besides dirt and graffiti. Poised for an attack from either direction, Aaron went down. Rapidly, it got darker, until the only thing he could see was the small area of light his torch gave him. After a couple of seconds searching, Aaron discovered the source of the vicious smell. He found three people chained up, all apparently unconscious, with visible signs of bleeding.
The first was a man in his mid-twenties. He looked incredibly pale. First, Aaron checked for a pulse, and, finding none, looked at the wounds. And, of course, his search revealed distinct bite-marks on the neck. "Yep, it just had to be vampires," he murmured. He had yet to find a monster he loathed more.
The second victim was alive, but just barely. It was impossible to tell how long she had been kept down here, but it was possible the vampires had been bleeding their victims for a very, very long time. The third was also dead. Just as Aaron was turning his mind to how he could get the survivor out without killing her too, He heard a noise from above. The vampires had returned.
Shrapnel || Aaron & Dean
Dean almost laughs, struck by the fact that he actually has common experiences with someone who isn’t Sam or Cas,
"Hmm," he says, mulling it over, before turning the key and starting to drive.
Aaron sat back as Dean put the car into gear. The Impala had a decent smell, traces of gunpower and leather mixed with the air of a different place. Dean probably wasn't from around here. "Where did you grow up?" Aaron asked absent-mindedly.
Drowning My Sorrows || Sam & Aaron
He heard the creak of the ancient scuffed bar stool next to him as someone sat down. Looking up, he saw a man, young, with curly dark hair. He just barely nodded at him in acknowledgment before turning back to his drink. He wasn’t much for conversation when he was hanging around bars like this, keeping his shoulders hunched and his eyes on his glass, but he wasn’t going to be rude to the guy.
The man beside Aaron didn't look awfully interested in anything, not even his drink. In fact, he seemed most interested in avoiding eye contact and seeming unfriendly. Someone like that had to have something interesting to say, or at least a story tough enough that Aaron could relate to. And the man didn't have the completely awful appearance of someone who had just been divorced (that was the one thing Aaron definitely wasn't interested in hearing about).
"Long day?"
Injured || Aaron & Damon
Damon has to fight not to roll his eyes; now he’s remembering why he usually doesn’t get tangled up with hunters. Still, there is something intriguing about Aaron, something that keeps Damon from just leaving him to deal with his own messes. Instead, the demon finds himself reaching down to run his fingers through Aaron’s hair and stroke down his face.
"You’re choice, sweetheart."
It wasn't to do with demonic powers. It was something else that was stopping him from accepting Damon's help. But he couldn't quite pin it down. "Thanks for the offer, though," he told Damon. "I appreciate it."
Injured || Aaron & Damon
Damon nods, holding back an exasperated sigh. “I could’ve healed you in an instant but I remember someone was adamant about it ‘not involving demonic powers’.”
"I don't recall saying anything like that," Aaron frowned. He considered it. It would be nice, if he ever saw Jacob again, to let him know that what he did had caused no lasting damage. And besides, he already had enough scars to last a lifetime. And this one, if he refused Damon's offer, would be even more unattractive than the rest of them combined.
But even after being intimate with Damon, he still felt uncomfortable about the idea. "I... don't know."
Injured || Aaron & Damon
Aaron’s grin turned to a grimace. “Listen, if you’re talking about soul-selling, I’m not interested. And I likely won’t ever be.” Nothing on earth was worth an eternity in hell. That’s what he reckoned.
Damon raises his hands defensively at the sudden iciness to Aaron’s tone. “Hey, hey, hey… not a deal, love, don’t worry. I’m not interested in buying your soul. I’m offering to help.”
"Sorry," he said. "You'd offer to help? What does that mean? You can heal this?"
Injured || Aaron & Damon
Aaron laughed a little and tried to prop himself up on one elbow, his back muscles feeling much less tense. But, to his dismay, he felt a small trickle of warmth run down the bare skin.
"I’m bleeding again," he told Damon, sitting up.
Damon sits up and peers down at Aaron with a soft frown on his face. “I know you’re not one for the demonic, sweetheart, but say the word and I can heal you up as good as new.”
Aaron's grin turned to a grimace. "Listen, if you're talking about soul-selling, I'm not interested. And I likely won't ever be." Nothing on earth was worth an eternity in hell. That's what he reckoned.
Injured || Aaron & Damon
Damon hums in amusement as he’s pulled into a kiss, and it’s not long before he’s kissing back. The fiery passion of before is long gone, this kiss slow and sweet; almost gentle. “Me too.”
Aaron laughed a little and tried to prop himself up on one elbow, his back muscles feeling much less tense. But, to his dismay, he felt a small trickle of warmth run down the bare skin.
"I'm bleeding again," he told Damon, sitting up.
Injured || Aaron & Damon
Damon lets out a low laugh, he had expected a little more freaking out from the hunter; but this reaction is nice. Aaron’s grin becomes infectious, and the demon finds his lips twitching upwards. He reaches over and pulls Aaron’s arm away from his face so he can look the hunter in the eye.
"I’m more than willing to make this a regular occurrence, sweetheart."
Aaron looked Damon in the eye. He was a disgrace to all hunters, but it felt so good. "I'd like that," he said, pulling Damon closer and kissing him, this time with his eyes closed.
