Travel must-see’s in Seoul, South Korea

Digital Observatory at N Seoul Tower (Namsan Seoul Tower) - Revel in a bird’s-eye view of Korea with a perfect 360 degrees  perspective.

Gyeongbokgung Palace - Travel back in time through seeing preserved remnants of the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty which was built in 1395.

Myeondong Shopping District - Go gaga over Korean cosmetics and shop ‘til you literally drop that K-Pop store. Seriously dying to go to Myeondong again and hoard all the makeup stores! Lol

Peak of Mt. Seorak

Considering the bleak atmosphere brought by the Autumn weather in South Korea, I never thought climbing a mountain (after almost an hour and a half) would be this fulfilling, hence the poses. 

Great heights are called for by high spirits.

Day Hike at  Mt. Seoraksan

“Seoraksan is the highest mountain in the Taebaek mountain range (태백산맥) in the Gangwon Province in eastern South Korea. It is located in a national park near the city of Sokcho. After the Hallasan volcano on Jeju Island and Jirisan in the south, Seoraksan is the third highest mountain in South Korea. The Daechongbong Peak (대청봉) of Seoraksan reaches 1,708 metres (5,603 feet). The Taebaek mountain chain is often considered the backbone of the Korean peninsula.”

Got to witness AUTUMN is South Korea last November 2014!  

Leaves went from golden yellow to fiery red, it was a sublime display of nature.

Namisum is a tiny half-moon shaped island located in Chuncheon, South Korea, formed as it was inundated by the rising water of the North Han River as the result of the construction of Cheongpyeong Dam in 1944. (Wikipedia)

Fortune Island

This island speaks for its name, a Fortune. It is remotely located in Batangas, Philippines and more than an hour of boat ride through crashing waves (depending on the weather) is needed to witness the Parthenon-like scenery of the place. The abandoned columns placed on top of a hill made it seem like it were remnants of a Grecian era.  This made me feel all giddy inside because the country on top of my travel bucket list will always be Greece (especially Oia, Greece because of Santorini ❣).

Palawanderlust

This trip was for work, making life a win-win situation at some point. Haha. After a 2-day tedious workload and road journey (from Bataraza to Puerto Princesa, imagine 6-hour ride of bumpy road) these wondrous beaches took all the stress away. I love how peaceful the islands were since it was already past summer time when we had this trip. Pure bliss it is.
