stupid fucking slut hours
sometimes i get hit with so much fondness for ezio n then i remember that so many of his fans r gamer bros who hate women n queer ppl n i have to wonder if they know that ezio would hate their asses so much
I like my fictional assassins like I like my espresso - dark, broody, Italian, with a hint of family trauma
the boyfriend makes the man. and that's why it took ezio decades to do the self help work that altair knocked out in one summer
Ezio. Study
it's june 24th again. everyone say happy birthday ezio auditore
racist gamer man: I’m not racist I just care about historical accuracy in Assassin’s Creed being preserved. I just want realism!!
the second ever Assassin’s Creed game over 15 years ago:

soft-spoken yet strong fighter with long hair from a foreign land finds an unexpected collaboration with sassy and impulsive lady who is searching for answers?
fuck it, close enough. welcome back Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira
one of the best things assassin’s creed does is never sacrifice stunning looks for practicality. yes the robes are pure white and will become impossibly blood-stained. yes they have easily-seen accessory capes in bright blue and scarlet. yes sometimes their tits are out and unprotected. yes sometimes the secret order’s insignia is embroidered right onto their clothes. it’s called fashion
Assassins Creed Rogue is one of those pieces of media that is objectively fine but subjectively you couldn't pry it from my cold dead fingers. Yes it's a monument to squandered potential, and, if given the appropriate budget and development time, could have been a masterpiece and a highlight of the series, critically and otherwise. But Ubisoft are little cunts. But also I will fight you off with a stick.
Just wanted to show some support for Ubisoft’s workers striking out in France right now from October 15 to October 17
Ubisoft generally has a really poor track record of treating their workers badly, impossible crunch times and schedules (especially with AC’s long running model of yearly releases that have affected the final quality of their games), and other issues with massive layoffs and payment issues and now mandating less opportunities to work from home.
I’m not going to be in the game’s industry, but I’ve seen a lot of similar issues happening with animation (the field I’m in) and the poor treatment of artists across these studios so… yeah. I understand.
Don’t buy anything from Ubisoft during this time, and support the artists and developers behind these games instead of the CEO’s that mistreat them.
At the end of the day I think Assassin’s Creed is about people. It’s about the quirks of people, the questions we ask ourselves, the choices we make. Stories about great people that could never be told, heroes no one will ever learn about, sacrifices no one will ever know to be thankful for. Men and women, killing and dying, making mistakes, falling in love, for thousands and thousands of years. It’s a story about peeling back the glamor of legend and infamy and seeing the names in the history books for what they are: people, for better or for worse.
Me going at high speed to hit everything that hurt/ruined Altaïr (I can't drive lol):
