re(re-re-re)reading ac renaissance and i'm at the point near the end where ezio gets injured and has to spend a few months recovering at forli and like... he just seems so *happy*. he spends his days reading philosophy and exercising and hanging out in the gardens and for the first time in 13 years he has time to think. it just makes me so sad that the only time he actually slows down and relaxes is when he nearly dies
