True anger just wasn’t in his nature. He’d forced that one to the back of his mind so many years ago, he wasn’t even sure he could feel it if he wanted to. An argument with Yuuta was moroeso a frustrating case of him jumping around on his adversary’s nerves until they ultimately snapped -- and it would seem Mason was not exempt from this. However, even Yuuta -- who had heard every insult under the sun -- hadn’t expected the venom that spewed from his former teacher’s mouth. In an instant, he seemed to recede into his mind to process that before suddenly smiling.

“Hmph. Is that so?”

He chuckled out, scratching the back of his neck. Inwardly, he straddled the line between perplexed and in denial. Humans had a disgusting habit of shouting things they didn’t mean when they were angry.

“Well, since we’ve established that, can we end this then?”

Yuuta finds it strange to get flowers for people because, once you pick them, they’re sure to die. In fact, if you receive a flower from Yuuta as opposed to an actual gift, you can safely assume he’s either mocking you or doesn’t care about you/the situation and is just trying to be polite. He’d rather give someone something that will last longer if they’re special to him.
