But your mother is still not really with us– and taking into consideration that you are in my body, we have no real idea on what she looks like currently.” It was frustrating to say the least. As Black Bolt moved, Medusa’s hair seemingly had a mind of its own and he was unsure of how to control it. “And we should feel lucky that my powers aren’t in play during all this. But I am sorry for your set back, Ahura.”

“This is true. Ultimately she could still be gallivanting around without a care.” He replied with mild bitterness in his tone. “I suppose that is convenient. Though I spent my childhood in silence until those that raised me made me suppress the scream you passed down to me.” He paused for a moment. “I appreciate your condolences. I just hope whoever has my body isn’t tarnishing my name.” He felt extra weight on this subject after being both Pope and King of Inhumanity.

“I suppose this was one way of bringing Mother home.” Ahura replied deeply annoyed by this entire situation and doing his best not to let his father’s memories creep in. Changing the subject to keep himself distracted. “I’ve got too many things to take care of right now for this.”

“Congraztulation on z’all those’z thingz.” Pietro looked at the other, but his was speaking in strict sarcasm. “Z’do you know that its cooler when don’t flash who you are.” He looked at the younger male and nodded. “But I was going to ask if I could interest you in some coffee.”

“I wasn’t attempting to brag, Pietro. Just reminding you that I’m a bit preoccupied.” He reminded with only a momentary glare crossing his face as his Boltagon pride was challenged by the thick sarcasm. The father of his youngest cousin was... Interesting to say the least. At the mention of coffee he thought he’d be due for another cup soon but dreaded what brown sludge he’d offer up. “I suppose a short break could be in order.” He said as he projected another version of himself to continue his work. “But please, Pietro, allow me. I’ll get my assistant to teleport us some espresso from my favorite Cafe in Rome.” This was just about the only place he trusted to make his coffee.

Gabriel looked at the kid with a cocked eyebrow - he wasn’t sure what the boy was getting at, but he just let him go on and kept talking. “I wasn’t asking for your situation or what you could do for me. But thanks for the introduction.” Gabriel looked at him. “I was saying you were in the way of the napkins and I needed some for my overflowing drink.” Gabriel felt something oddly familiar about this boy.

“Right.” He said as much of the pleasantness left his voice. This man wasn’t an Inhuman, his abilities could tell him that much, he didn’t have to be too nice to him. His eyes took on a faint blue glow as napkins floated towards the man. “I was telling you so you’d know I don’t have much time to spare on idle conversation.” His expression was still pleasant but his tone was much more direct. “You’re welcome, for the napkins.”

This wasn’t exactly a conversation Ahura was dying to have this conversation with his cousin but it needed to be done. She had been through a lot and in his eyes she was very obviously not ready to come back to the throne. His empathic abilities wen off the charts around her since coming back and not to mention Luna, who has been terrified since her mother’s believed passing. 

Ahura’s various positions of power have been exhausting, especially with having to clean up Namor’s attack, face the less desirable of the mutants, and manage his company. Needless to say he’s been using the maximum amount of his projections as possible to get everything done. 

His thoughts were interrupted as his innate Inhuman detection powers picked up on Crystalia as she approached her former office. He walked around the desk and in front of the door as his eyes flashed blue and he willed the door open. “Cousin, it’s good to see you.” He said offering a smile as three of his projections continued to work around the room. “Did you eat? I can have my page get you anything you’d like.” Ahura offered lightly as he gestured towards the black leather couch he brought from his office in Rome for when he needed a power nap.

“Yes I am still King, CEO, and Pope. While I’d prefer to take the time and have this conversation in detail I have a lot on my plate at the moment. Now that you’re aware of my situation, how can I help?”

No would have been his immediate answer but he felt that would be overtly impolite, even if it would make Luna accuse him of cheating. “You’re more than welcome to if you’d like.” He replied showing a tight lipped smile.

Charles eyed the duplicate warily. Ahura was truly a powerful being, but his arrogance was something that could easily be exploited.

“Her Royal Highness wasn’t around– I decided to it couldn’t wait. Are you aware of the er— tension developing as of late?”

“Don’t tell me your nervous, Professor.” He replied feeling the tension Charles felt as he looked at the clone. “I’m the C.E.O. of the only Inhuman run corporation that supplies all over the planet, standing Pope of Inhuman kind and, Crown Prince. You’ll understand that I have a very busy schedule and need as many hands as I can get.” He said lightly as his eyes gestured to the splinter of his soul sitting at his desk. “I assume she’s busy like myself.” He added somewhat snidely.  “It’s hard not to be. What do you make of all of this?”

“Your cousin made a firm case against the mutants. While I know that I stand with the Avengers, both my father and sister are mutants as well. I do not wish to see them harmed.” Still, Wanda took the card and absently flipped it around.

“Do you think I do?” Ahura asked taking the seat next to her. “I’m not one for violence. I’m can certainly handle myself when necessary but my abilities are far better suited for non-violent methods. I promise.”  He said projecting the last sentence into her head.

“Using my own accomplishments as an insult doesn’t really work.” Ahura replied as he straightened his coat. “Fair enough. Lorna, I’m aware that you were in attendance during the lunar incident last night. You understand the violence and devastating power that those five are now wielding. Now tell me, could you trust Namor and Emma before they were possessed by the Phoenix?”
