The Debut

Summary: Harry and Louis make their first television debut after coming out. Virtually on the James Cordon show.

Word Count: 645

“Tonight I have a one of my best friends in the entire world as my guest tonight. The singer, actor, and dancer, Harry Styles!” Harry shakes his head in amusement as his video shows up on the big screen. “Thank you for that wonderful introduction James.” 

The show continues like any other interview. They talk about Harry’s movie he just finished filming, the movie that is in the works, any new music, and of course, a little bit of One Direction. Harry asks about James’ family and other things happening in his life, cracking a few jokes here and there. 

With only 15 minutes left in the show, it was time for Harry’s performance. “Now Harry, I’ve heard you wanted to bring a special guest to perform this song with it.” “Yeah yeah, this song I wrote with somebody very special a little while ago and we’ve never been able to perform it together and I think it is finally time.” James smiles fondly at the younger lad, “without further ado, please welcome Louis Tomlinson!” 

Louis joins Harry on the couch with a grin on his face, this was the boy’s first television debut as a couple. Louis then grabs his guitar and plucks a few chords to give Harry his starting notes.

Harry then gives Louis a quick glance, Louis still catching Harry’s love eyes. They then glance at James to make sure everything with technology is okay to continue. Louis shifts in his seat before continuing with the second verse.

Louis strums the last chord before James starts clapping, performing nowadays is strange without a live studio audience due to the lack of applause. “Thank you so much Harry and Louis for performing for us today, sending you all the love in the world.” Harry and Louis wave goodbye to James before the video chat is disconnected. 

The pair are giggly messes for the rest of the night, happy and filled with endorphins because they’re finally 100% free. All of their friends and families texted them to congratulate the pair.

There’s a strange feeling of clarity when someone comes out, they can fully be themselves without the fear of judgement or sorrow. It’s a liberating feeling, they finally get that feeling.

I Met Someone

Summary: Harry tells his mom about a boy he meets in the washroom.

Word Count: 361

“It was really weird mom, but it was amazing. we just locked eyes and- gah his eyes are incredible, but we locked eyes and I felt this flippy feeling in my tummy.” Anne fonded as her son kept ranting in the hotel room. “His smile was the best part, he said ‘hi’ and his eyes crinkled as he smiled. He kinda reminds me of Franke Sandford.” 

“Oh honey, sounds like you had an eventful day.” These feelings of Harry’s didn’t phase Anne, she knew from a young age Harry showed fanciness towards everyone, no matter their identity. 

“His name is Louis Tomlinson, he’s from Doncaster, he has a lot of sisters, he’s 18-” “Oh 18?” Anne interrupted, Harry blushed and nodded. “I just can’t wait to see him tomorrow, when he told me goodbye today he ruffled my curls!” 

Anne sat and listened to her son ramble about his new infatuation with the older lad, being supportive when she needed to be. She’s happy she could have someone look after Harry when she wasn’t present. 

A few days later- when they’re put together as a group

Louis jumped into Harry’s arms unexpectantly but he recovered quickly, wanting to show he was strong. The boys rejoiced, Harry almost in tears. He was beyond excited to tell his mom.

“Mom! We’re in a group together! I get to hear him sing everyday, he has such an angelic voice. Straight from heaven.” Anne giggles as she sits across the room. “I’m happy you’re going to be in a band with him, remember why you’re here Harry. Simon gave you guys a second chance.” Anne reminds her son, “yes mom of course! We are going to work super hard each day. I’m gonna miss you though...” Harry trail off. 

Anne hugs her son and whispers sweet nothings in his ear to comfort him. Anne came to the realization that Louis was going to have to take care of Harry for the next few months. After meeting Louis within the next few days, she realized she was completely okay with that.

First New Year’s Kiss (Highschool AU)

Summary: Louis is Harry’s first New Year’s kiss at his first New Year’s Eve party. Harry is nervous to say the least.

Word count: 646

The pair entered the crowded house, their noses instantly filled with the smell of weed, alcohol, and sweaty teenagers. Harry clung to Louis’ arm, nervous due to the fact he wasn’t very experienced with high school parties; he was excited none the less. Louis felt his boyfriend’s nerves and made a mental note never to leave his side. 

Their evening was filled with rounds of beer pong and other stupid games. After both boys were tipsy they slipped into the corner of the living room for a quick make out session. Harry was more touchy tonight, more clingy, and Louis loved every single second of it.

Harry’s fingers dug into Louis’ waist, begging to be closer. He moaned as Louis slipped the tip of his tongue past his lips. Harry couldn’t get enough. “Babe, babe” Louis panted, placing his hands on Harry’s cheeks. “Let’s get back to the party yeah? I’ll have you all to myself later.” With a pat on the bum from Louis the pair were off to socialize again.

Harry and Louis were both in a giggly mood as a group of them passed a joint around. It was a small group of friends: Niall, Liam, Zayn, and the pair have gone to school together for years. “So what is everyone’s New Year’s resolutions?” Niall asked breaking the silence. 

“Get more tattoos” Zayn spoke up, raising his already tattooed covered arm. “I’d like to stop drinking.” Liam said next, he’s had issues in the past and has stuck with smoking at parties lately. “I don’t think I have any” Harry spoke quietly, his shy personality never quite leaving.

“Hmmmmm” Louis thought before glancing at Harry, “to kiss you more, and to make you the happiest you can be.” Harry felt the blush creep up to his face. “Gross! Get a room you twats!” An Irish accent yelled while throwing a pillow. 

It was two minutes till midnight and the majority of the party was gathered in the living room, where the big flat screen tv was set up on a special channel with a countdown. “Are you sure you don’t have any New Year’s resolutions baby?” Louis whispered in his boyfriend’s ear. After some thought Harry had his answer, “to spend another year with you Lou Bear.” Louis couldn’t be more in love. 

“10!” The crowed started to cheer. Louis pulled Harry to the back corner where they’re previous activities took place. 

“9!” Harry bit his lip, really excited for what is about to come.

“8!” They got settled into the corner, feeling shielded off from every one else. They were in their own little world. 

As the countdown continued, they stared into each other’s eyes, savoring this moment together. Both itching to touch one another and feel their lips press. Time seemed to slow in this moment, all the chaos around them vanished and in this point in time, it was only them.

“3! 2! 1!” Was shouted all around them, muffled by the screams and shouts of other phrases. Louis wasted time before pulling Harry by his love handles and forcefully pressed their lips together. The kiss almost interrupted by their grins that they couldn’t help but form. 

After what seemed like ages, the pair pulled apart, Harry breathing rather heavy. “Okay, I think I’ve had enough of this party. Let’s go home where I can have you all to myself” Harry said confidently, the booze and weed having that affect on him. Louis pecked his lips one last time before leading them out of the house with his hand on the taller boy’s lower back. 

The boy’s made their way safely back to Harry’s house where they locked themselves behind a closed door. They got lost within each other, no telling where one body ended and the other began. This was truly their favorite way to start a new year.

School Week Shenanigans (Highschool AU)

Summary: Louis is the classic jock football star while Harry is his quiet theatre nerd boyfriend. 

Word count: 618

“Louis, Lou, we have to get back to class. I can’t be late” Harry pants as his boyfriend’s lips trail down his neck. He had stolen the younger lad in between classes for a small make out session in the janitor’s closet. The poor janitor has caught them more times than the boys can count. Harry gripped Louis’ hair and pulled him back; Louis’ lips were red and swollen, his eyes wild. His lopsided grin making Harry totally swoon. “Okay Hazza, let’s get ya to class.” Louis squeezes Harry’s bum one last time before they make their way out of the closet. 

Harry was a good student before and after he met Louis, but dating Louis made focusing harder. All he could think about throughout the day was his hair, hands, muscles, and those lips. Fridays were his favorite days because he didn’t have play practice, so he could watch Louis during his footie practice. He loves watching Louis play, he got all sweaty and flushed when he was exhausted. Reminds Harry of another act they do, thinking of it causes Harry to blush. 

He closes his locker to rush to the football field to get his spot in the corner of the bleachers. He enjoys reading while watching Louis’ practice. Sometimes its going over lines for a production while other times he reads novels for fun. Harry wasn’t popular per say, he had Louis and the other football players talked to him; he had a few friends in the theatre program but he liked he keep to himself. 

A wide grin spread over Harry’s face when he saw his boyfriend come out of the locker room, freshly showered, skin practically glowing. “Hey Hazza, ready to go?” Louis greets the curly haired lad while pulling him into a sweet and short kiss. Harry doesn’t dislike PDA, he just gets shy. He sheepishly nods and they make their way to Louis’ car.

They hang out everyday after school, most of the time at Harry’s place due to Louis’ house being littered with children. But on days like today, Harry’s mom wouldn’t be home (and Louis wasn’t allowed in Harry’s house without an adult.) So they had to go to Louis’ house, which Harry was excited for, he loved seeing Louis’ siblings. 

Harry and Louis were trying to have alone time in Louis’ room. Kissing in his bed with the door cracked open, (per his mother’s request) but the children giggling down the hall was distracting. Louis growing frustrated and Harry finding it adorable. Louis doesn’t want anyone knowing but he loves when Harry babies him. “C’mon Lou, turn that frown upside down. We can just cuddle for a little bit until my curfew.” Louis groaned and laid on top of Harry, putting the entirety of his body weight on him, Harry loved it. 

“How’s the Shakespeare play coming along?” Harry sighed, “it’s going okay, kinda stressful since we only have a few more weeks to prepare.” Louis snuggled into the younger boy, breathing in his scent, “talk some Shakespeare to me.” Harry giggled and hugged his boyfriend a little tighter before motioning him to look into his eyes. “My bounty is as boundless as the sea, my love as deep; the more I give to thee, the more I have, for both are infinite.”

Louis giggled slightly before pecking Harry’s lips a few times. “I love when you recite Shakespeare to me. Gives me an instant boner.” This sent Harry into an instant fit of laughter. “You’re such a dork Lou” Harry says before giving him a few sweet kisses. These were the pairs favorite moments; simply being with each other, making each other laugh, and sharing sweet kisses.
