let me just say that when dong kyung walked into his world and made things bright it was because he liked her. when she walks into myul mang’s world in this episode nothing happens until he has his memories back and I just love that so much. because it’s not about dong kyung being so special/magical that she can just bring life into his world, instead it’s about how he feels towards her. he likes her, therefore his world is a bit better.

one of my favourite things watching days is just how fascinated myul mang is with dong kyung. like he doesn't show it too much but there are lil scenes where he just gets....surprised. and it's adorable to watch

So the scene where Myeol Mang 'bewitches' her to almost kiss him..

The smirk at the end short circuited my brain so bad that I forgot how heart breaking I found the scene right before and I think that's because right there, he stands still and lets her close the distance, looking so unbearably sad, because he wants it. He's pulling it as a prank and then she's barely a few inches from her and it's something he didn't let himself imagine, that she could do that, that she could want it, because right now she doesn't, he's making her, and although he's the one in control and standing there, there's a yearning for something he's letting himself glimpse at while feeling out of reach. And only when he gives her control back, does he put on that smirk to slip back into pretending and pranking and hiding his vulnerability

And that makes the actual kiss even more painful, because she's the one holding out everything we had 'forced' her into this time. Instead of asking to love him, she's asking him to love her, all games and contract aside, and it's so deeply rooted in her own want, so openly given, that he must see exactly what we yearned for earlier and that realisation that he's not making her want that but she still does.. It kicked all his walls in and there was no holding back

who even says days has bad writing?? ooH WHAT? you’re too good to watch a fantasy drama about seo in guk being a cheeky little immortal bastard who just wants to die every day and park bo young who has terminal brain cancer but made it her mission that if she has to die then she’s dragging the whole world with her? is it an EYESORE for you to watch these two tortured characters hold hands and bicker while trying to kill each other? you think you could write a harder line than “love me to the point that you want to destroy the world for me”? i didn’t think so
