I’m going to be thinking about The Eighth Sense for a long time.
Well done.
My personal ranking of KBL but honestly they’re on the same level of favorites! These are just the ones that live in my head rent free!

Been in a Kdrama drought for awhile and The Eighth Sense is bringing me life you don’t understand!!!
jihyun clueless to the meaning of ‘wanna eat ramen?’
Imagine—Ji Hyun learns what it means then will say it to Jae Won again and Jae Won won’t know it so he’ll go to the dorm thinking they’ll eat ramyeon and Ji Hyun will surprise him 🫢😏🫠
I've mentioned how Hira constantly lowers himself around Kiyoi because he has never seen himself as an equal.
But you know what Kiyoi has consistently done the past two episodes after telling Hira to never leave him?
He has treated Hira as his equal. He has looked Hira in his eyes, made Hira look at him by putting his hands on Hira's shoulders, and told Hira how amazing he is, how is is not a pebble, and how he is worthy of being by his side.
Kiyoi immediately comes home and becomes Hira's equal, lowering himself to the floor. He doesn't take the time to walk around and take off his jacket or bag. He stops right there, and discards everything about himself, to sit down, and talk to Hira as his equal.
Then he lowers himself even more when Hira states he is a failure.
The only time Kiyoi has been higher than Hira the past two episodes, is when Hira puts him there. Kiyoi was acting very much like Hira, admiring Anna on the TV, when Hira began taking photos of him. Kiyoi seemed uncomfortable being gazed at through the lens of the camera, but he understands this is what Hira likes, so he turns off the TV and walks over to the chair.
Yet he continues to try talking to Hira. Hira gives him brief responses. Hira is in his idol-worship zone, and Kiyoi is cut off on this pedestal talking to himself.
Every other time, Kiyoi is shown lower than Hira. If Kiyoi isn't making the effort to be equal with Hira, Hira is shown holding the real power in the relationship, and there is always something between them. Just like the sunglasses Hira wears when watching Kiyoi on set or the camera he takes pictures with, Hira is never really seeing Kiyoi in front of him. He is always seeing Kiyoi through a filter.
When they fight, Hira clearly holds the power as Kiyoi must look up to him.
But then again, Hira doesn't hold eye contact with Kiyoi until he crawls around the table to lower himself.
And that's when Kiyoi loses it.
Strangely enough, Kiyoi won't let Hira lay on the floor. He keeps picking up Hira.
Then he makes this comment:
Kiyoi has lowered himself and picked Hira up, but he is realizing that Hira never intends for them to be equal. Hira wants to maintain the dynamic they have of a god to a pebble, and no amount of reminding Hira that they are both humans is going to convince Hira to rise up to meet Kiyoi. No matter how much love and worth Kiyoi gives to Hira, no matter how many times he picks Hira up, and no matter how many times he lowers himself for Hira, Hira refuses to pick himself up. Hira states he doesn't want to bring Kiyoi down, but never once thinks he can raise himself up.
Because he is only a fan.
Not a friend.
Not a boyfriend.
Just a fan.
THEY ARE KILLING ME! Hira stop putting Kiyoi on a pedestal! You’re going to lose him! Kiyoi, ugh my heart! Watching his heart break as he tried to get through to Hira… 🥲
KIM JAE YOUNG as KANG HAE JIN LOVE IN CONTRACT (2022) dir. Nam Sung Woo
I love Go Kyung Pyo but holy shit!!! 😍Kim Jae Young 🥵 I’m down HARD for this one. Embracing second lead syndrome 100% 🥰
I’m not even watching Yumi’s Cells 2 but I’m sorry, you get into a whole ass accident and don’t call your girlfriend because you think she’d worry??? Like what kind of brain do you have to process with something so incredibly stupid for you to think that’s okay??? I’d dump his ass idgaf team woong
Also don’t get me started on catching feelings for another girl like boy bye.
Lmao again I’m not even watching it but that shit pisses me off
I love how Seojoon was just eating while Jiwoo was frantically looking for him.
Ji Woo got a lil taste of what Seo Joon felt during the year Ji Woo ran away. Not so nice now, is it?
Quick question, how the hell did it take Seo Joon and Pil Hyun a year to find Ji Woo? Like he lived in his hometown and Pil Hyun even knew Ji Woo before Ji Woo and Seo Joon met…wouldn’t either of them have thought to look there first???
Anyways, loved season 2 and would like a season 3 of complete fluff.
The actor knows acting and Ji Woo—you’re failing. Majorly.
You know what? How about a time jump and Ji Woo searching up Seo Joon again and coming across an article about Seo Joon dating someone new? HOW ABOUT THAT?!?
You never speak your mind and drive people crazy. Exactly. I know that too. I know I am that kind of person. I am like that. Even so. Even so, I still like you. But I don’t.
TO MY STAR 2: OUR UNTOLD STORIES (2022) dir. Hwang Da Seul
The math’s just not mathin’. I NEED answers before I continue watching. Literally make it make sense.
But what if how TMS2 ends is a mirror to how TMS ended? Except this time it’s Ji Woo saying he’ll go to Seo Joon—no matter how long it takes. I’m—
I’m so curious to see Tae Sung confess to Han Byul because he’s been in denial for so long and she’s going to misinterpret everything because of her walls she built up so then he’s going to wonder if she feels the same way… Then we have that fine ass lawyer too who’s googling how to host a dinner party because Han Byul mentioned that he should host one and I know I will be in pain. Like bby I can help you host one!
Okay so Sh**ting Stars is a new favorite! Looking at the 5th episode, I think I know why they took that couple photo. Because their names make Haesung (Han Byul + Tae Sung) and they went to Haesung University. So they were featured on the university magazine. They were probably the top of the class and got paired up. Probably weren’t ever dating! That’s my theory at least. We’ll see what happens next!
I have been in a kdrama funk for a few months after some of my favorites ended and there weren’t many dramas that I was looking forward to. I kept seeing posts for Bad and Crazy but wasn’t sure if it would be one I would like. I am picky about police/crime dramas and find they can be a bit too dark for my liking so I held off on watching this one because I didn’t really look into what the story was.
I just finished it last night after starting it last week and can say that I thoroughly enjoyed it! So I recommend this one if you are looking for a good drama to watch. It’s well paced, has likable characters, and doesn’t stay stuck on one villain throughout the drama. It has sad/dark moments and is very layered but has comedy to balance it out.
Wi Ha Jun and Lee Dong Wook was a duo I didn’t know I needed! Also, Wi Ha Jun had me in love with K! So well done!
