when lev runs off to go to the island and get his mom it reminds me so much of when ellie steals a horse and runs from the dam in the first game. just the style of it, the suddenness and the shock and the way the characters all jump into action, i don’t know the two scenes just felt so similar to each other. i was half expecting abby to ask yara “does he pull these kinds of stunts often” and yara to respond “nothing like this” before i remembered that that was dialogue from the first game and not the second

lev asks abby to remove all the coins from her person and she dumps out her pockets and hes like “no, all the coins, abby” causing it to devolve into that trope where someone is asked to remove all their guns abby pulls coins from the strangest spots, her hair, taped to her abs, hidden in her socks,  she just keeps producing more coins until there is a huge pile on the table in front of them then as she goes to walk away lev clears his throat and puts out his hand out and she pulls one from behind his ear and gives it to him before storming away while he freaks out

It strikes me as funny when the guys who say they would "fix" Abby's design for her to be more attractive to them also say similar things on Ellie. I've seen some quite inc*l—ish guys spill some crap about that on the internet as well, why she is kinda lanky or doesn't wear attractive clothes, and I say is funny because they claim "realism" and they only struck me as p*rnsick guys who don't like ACTUAL female bodies, especially if they are the vessel of two amazingly written female characters

anyone who logs onto reddit to talk about how the female bodies in TLOU2 are unrealistic are 100% incels who have never gone outside and seen a woman before... like they literally have no concept of what a womans body looks like.... no fucking clue that women can be muscular... or lanky! ..... like i’m sorry, did u want hentai anime tiddies in TLOU2? is that what you wanted, kyle? hentai? like bro youre a virgin who lives in your moms basement n you hate women for not wanting to sleep w/ u bc u dont bathe, what do u know abt what a womans body looks like
