Most frequent is a morning coffee… home brew hot coffee with milk and a leetle sugar.

But I am not gonna lie that my favorite little treat is a cold Coca-Cola from a soda fountain with the good ice. My migraine fix of choice is an icy Coke, an Aleve, and a nap. 😂

Or some kind of Cherry limeade mocktail when out with friends. And I learned how to make hibiscus / jamaica tea this summer so I have a pitcher of that in hand this summer. 🌺

what's your living arrangement? (who do you live with, in what kind of building, do you own or rent or other?)

I have a condo! Living space is all on one level with in-unit laundry plus garage. I am a lucky duck. 🦆

I work from home in the primary bedroom cause it has good light. I have a sewing space/guest bedroom and then third bedroom I let a family member live with me while they get on their feet. The two bedrooms are on the smaller size but we make do. No yard but I have a little deck with potted plants 🪴 I snagged this unit at a good time because I found it 2019 before the price doubled. I have neighbors on either side but it’s pretty well insulated. I really only ever hear the neighbors in the row behind me who do have the occasional spat and/or long phone calls on their deck. (😂 I don’t try to listen but the window is open and their voices carry).

I really hated this girl in my class and we kept exchanging notes with various threats of violence on them but then on a Zoom call I saw that she kept a bunch of them pinned on her wall with little hearts around them and I got the biggest crush on her after that.

At the end of the day, some authors will endure and most, including some very good ones, will not. Why do I think reading is important? It is such an effective medium between mind and mind. We think largely in words. A medium made only of words doesn't impose the barrier of any other medium. It is naked and unprotected communication. That's how you get pregnant. May you always be so.
