When women post this kind of content theyre doing their patriarchal duty of trying to groom other women into thinking "its normal and funny when your husband is a useless piece of shit".

That's the point of husband-complaining with zero intentions of leaving: they need to normalize it for themselves and others.

Other women laughing it off is supposed to be an emotional pressure release valve for the mistreatment so they can have the stamina to continue to endure it. And when we don't play our part: its a problem. Because you're getting treated like shit, there's no pressure release via others cosigning that its okay and all you're left with is the reality of the situation to deal with alone.

My daughter is very ill. She laughs despite the pain, unaware that her small body desperately needs blood transfusions to compensate for the severe deficiency that has weakened her. She has become frail and weak, suffering from constant fatigue and unable to live a normal life like any other child. Despite everything she is going through, she still smiles innocently and clings to hope. I appeal to anyone who can help to stand by us in this ordeal, as every bit of support could give her a chance at treatment and a chance to regain her health and her life.

This is one of the oldest surviving recordings of a trans person.

Masoud El Amaratly (1897-1944) was an Iraqi trans singer who became famous in 1920s Baghdad for his folk music. He worked as a farmer before transitioning in his teens. The mustarjil, a term similar to trans man, then moved to the city and sang in cafés. A music agent discovered him there and his fame spread across West Asia.

Enjoy this 1925 recording of him singing the traditional Iraqi song, "Khadri al Chai" ("Please Make Tea"). Check out Ajam's website for more.
