Hey. Why isn’t the moon landing a national holiday in the US. Isn’t that fucked up? Does anyone else think that’s absurd?

It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!

i wish there were more adult GalaxyClan fans. the fandom is full of children (understandably) but I'd rather have conversations with other adults with more mature conversations. the fandom unfortunately is very "don't talk about this" and very sanitised (minus that one fic on ao3 kudos pun not attended to whoever wrote that) like can we stop stepping on eggshells regarding fiction please it's not that serious I beg

When I should be doing ArtFight but… The Brain Worms TM really liked the idea of an unconventional Pokemon and Persona crossover. It’s sort of a PMD Pokemon replacing people setting, but in modern day Japan! Mega Evolution is the equivalent of Personas, though would just be called Personas in an actual game.

I ended up designing this Absol who’s the childhood best friend of the protag concept (a transmasc Pyroar). She’s sweet and well-mannered, probably a strict rule-follower in the student council. She probably struggles with standing up for herself and she isn’t always the most socially aware.

There’s an odd pattern in a lot of my work where I always end up including a character with DID… And this is one of them! It wouldn’t be revealed until about mid-game, but the alters each have their own mega because the Persona is meant to be the “true self”. What if there are two true selves? The alter with the Z mega is more brash and a little mean, though she mostly a shy bookworm outside of combat with gothic aesthetic that contrasts her headmate’s softer appearance. A fun fact I’d love to reveal after the big reveal is that the Mega Z alter is the studious one and the other is embarrassed to admit she’s not the good student she portrays herself as.

For their Arcana, I think I’d assign the Temperance? Elements of balance seem very fitting

July “Equilibrium” P5/P2 Fic Update

Hey gang, it’s monthly update time! …I know it’s not July yet, shhhhh. For those who may be new here or just need a refresher, I’m working on what’s essentially a third P2 instalment/post P5R ShuAke fic inspired by the idea that Joker P5’s codename is too much of coincidence to be a coincidence. Naming himself the next Joker surely won’t have consequences…

The current status update is… We’re probably facing a delay on the first chapter, one of the main reasons being that I’ve caught the world’s worst cold and can’t write right now. The other reason is that this first chapter is going to be incredibly long! It’s going to serve as a prologue from Akira’s perspective, setting up the main premise introduced back in the Not Morgana post. For the most part, I’m certain on each of the points I need to cover and how, with a few in a specific section that are slightly more complicated to decide but I’ve so got this. If all goes well and I’m not too busy with ArtFight, the prologue could be out this month. Otherwise, it’s guaranteed in August.

I can give a bit of information on how the fic will be structured though! After the prologue, the fic will be split into three arcs, each with a part A and part B. Each Arc has an overarching plot, with the switch from part A to B coming at a big mid arc shakeup in which the focus stays the same but a shift happens enough to be two distinct before and after parts. After the prologue, most of the fic will be from Akechi’s perspective, but the Akira perspective will return later down the line along with some possible side content in the far future. There will be a few extra perspectives for some sideplots on occasion, but otherwise I want to keep firmly in Akechi’s perspective.

Something I do need to address is that there will be a hiatus between the Prologue and the start of Arc 1A, as I need the time to build up a backlog. Probably to at least half way through 1A. I’d prefer to have the entirety of 1A done before I start posting it, but I’m a slow writer and I don’t want to leave readers with just the Prologue for too long. Though I’ll feel a lot more confident with chapters once the Prologue is out there — as long as there’s something to bookmark, readers are willing to wait.

For now, all I can offer is to answer any questions you may have about the fic. Which I’d honestly love to do! I don’t have many friends in the fandom, so it all stays locked up in my head with no one to hear it. I’ll answer anything that isn’t too heavy on the spoilers. I’m also looking for any Discord servers for ShuAke fic authors, because I’d love to have people to bounce ideas off of if anyone knows a place.

Fanfic Progress Update

Greetings everyone, it's been a little while since I've put any word out about my P5/P2 fanfic, Equilibrium. I was unfortunately slowed down by some mental health related issues, but I'm still working on it! I've got my hands full with ArtFight prep right now, but progress is being made on the first chapter and I'm really excited to share it with all of you. I cannot give you an exact date, but my aim is either the end of June or start of July.
