Welcome to our page. Collectively, we go by Calypso, though the name Noelle is also highly preferred. We are a RAMCOA/OEA EC-DID system. We go by any pronouns and are taken by our partner.

so tired of white ppl saying its okay to make jokes about nuking japan and destroying the country because "what about the war crimes!!" what about YOUR countrys war crimes??? you have an issue with the government, not the people. saying you want to nuke and kill an entire group because you treat every citizen as someone complicit in what happened is racist!!! and ALSO not to mention completely ignores our Natives (Okinawans, Ainu, Ryukyuan, Emishi, etc)!! everyone be less racist and biased now
They'll do literally anything but look in the mirror. How are they going to make jokes about nuking a whole country of people, most of whom aren't part of the government. People do this with Japan I assume because they view the country as this "evil sci-fi country that's advanced much farther than it was supposed to", trying to be like "oh they're ALL homophobic or ALL racist" 1) Bigoted people exist in every country 2) Is the country you're from/residing in actively committing or have committed war crimes at the same or a far greater scale? 3) Do you think that nuking a whole country of people is an appropriate response 4) Are YOU the person who should be pointing fingers while generalizing a whole country of people??

People seem to understand that autistic people are sometimes going to say the wrong thing or say it the wrong way or unintentionally offend people, yet no one seems to be able to apply that knowledge to individual situations. Like they understand the concept but when it actually happens it's not autism they're just a bad person.
A lot of people have to realize that itâs still a federal charge even if itâs a fictional character. Youâre still going to get in legal trouble for it, no matter if itâs not a real child.
The conjoining of the terms fictive and fictionkin in both alterhuman and system spaces makes me incredibly uncomfortable as a fictive that identifies with some alterhuman labels.
The only thing we have in common is both terms describing something based on fiction.
Being a fictive isnât an identity for me or for most of our other introjects. I exist like this because a twelve year old went through something so traumatic that the current coping mechanisms they had werenât enough to deal with it so their brain latched on to something that brought them comfort and made them feel safer. That has nothing to do with someone who identifies has a fictional character or who believes they were a fictional character in a past life.
I see most of this coupling of terms in general plural and pro endo spaces and that has led me to conclude that this is another example of endogenics treating actual disordered symptoms and behaviors like an identity. It feels as though this is them bastardizing one of the more âfunâ or âinterestingâ parts of this disorder without fully understanding what it is or the reason it happens. Which is upsettingly common in these spaces.
Itâs yet another form of ableism towards those with CDDs that has yet to be addressed or unpacked broadly by the system community. I donât expect it to be even realized, though, as the general system community thrives off of this specific form of ableism, on both pro and anti endo sides. On the pro side of the community, they donât acknowledge ableism for what it is because do not view systems as symptoms of CDDs and thus inherently disordered. On the anti side, they rarely acknowledge fictives being anything more than offshoots of a fictional character, but still claim to know fictives arenât actually their source.
This isnât hate on fictionkins, for the record! I have no problem with them as long as they arenât injecting themselves into conversations and spaces about and for introjects. This is more my personal observations, connections Iâve made, and feelings that have arose because of those observations. As well as a critique of the plural and system communities. Iâm not even sure if any of this makes sense as I just started typing and the thoughts kept flowing as I did.
Like for me psychiatry is bad because it's an abusive, violent and bigoted carceral system built to enforce conformity and punish deviance, and I will not ally myself with people who think it's bad that psychiatry exists because mentally ill people are all lazy fakers making it up or whatever. Like if that's your main argument for being critical of the institution of psychiatry we are not allies in criticizing psychiatry
My traumatic memories are factoids, I got them from somewhere else, someone told me, I know it happened like I know what happens in a movie that I ingested through cultural osmosis without seeing it myself. Sometimes almost all my memories, relationships, interests and hobbies become factoids and the trauma becomes a memory again. I think this is a switch.

I stopped feeling safe in the Characters Against Endos server way before any of the actual controversies started and that is because I am MSN autistic. The way that staff (and other members) talked about certain behaviours that I show because I am MSN autistic was genuinely upsetting.
More than once did I have someone in that server tell me that my combining of L2 and MSN autistic was redundant. I even had someone straight up tell me that no one uses support needs because theyâre âfunctioning labels rebrandedâ. (They are NOT the same as functioning labels, support needs labels are based on the support you require around mainly your ADLs. They ARE designed to be used in a medical & professional setting whereas functioning labels NEVER were. Functioning labels were and still are pop psych buzzwords)
Members of the staff (Neru, Nikki and Valerie) did not do their jobs and used poor excuses as to why nothing was being done about certain situations.
Neru was cowardly in how she ran the server and expects people to sympathise because she is mentally ill, many MANY people called for the removal of Nikki from the staff team and the whole server and yet it was never banned. Why? Nostalgia reasons. Nikki wanted to fucking reminisce and so it was allowed to stay after telling people to kill themselves and offering ZERO actual apology publicly. (The only âapologyâ I have see was passively, given by another staff member with zero proof to say it had actually apologised)
Multiple times I asked for the rules about no ship course to be clarified, what exactly did the server consider âtalks of ship courseâ. All times it was never answered.
I also want to say staff never properly policed their own rules, multiple times did I (20 year old) have other members (both adults and minors) make âjokesâ to me/about me that implicated I was preying on minors. Staff did not intervene other than one time because other sexual jokes were being made at the same time.
Nikki dodged accountability and attacked members on multiple occasions, I have seen it claim it didnât need to be educated on the way certain terms were used in resources it provided because it âdidnât make the resourcesâ.
Multiple times did staff shut topics down that were neither unsafe, nor against the rules and would not properly explain why when asked.
On one occasion staff mocked someone in active distress.
Multiple times were staff caught being wildly ableist (including refusing to change names when multiple members pointed out the font was inaccessible DESPITE THE FACT CAE HAD A NO FONT RULE), shutting down a very mild conversation about how paraphilic disorders are treated (not even just the big 3, all paraphilic disorders) for being âsexual in natureâ and then snapping at members when we pointed out the topic was not remotely sexual just for including paraphilic disorders.
Multiple times were members who asked for a conversation to stop either ridiculed or flat out ignored.
Multiple times did staff fail to take action against people in the server until other members pointed out they were not only breaking rules but making others wildly uncomfortable.
Multiple times staff ignored blatant boundary breaking.
Multiple times were members shut down for voicing concerns and it was labelled as drama or labelled as petty.
I know there were a few times staff did not vet resources or servers correctly (including sending a chain mail that contained false rumours without verifying truth & partnering a server that mistreated problematic introjects this is the only situation where I have ever and will ever agree with Nikki).
Most recently staff said anyone caught harassing others would be banned on the spotâŠand yet still Nikki was not banned from the server.
Neru if you see this there is nothing âindirectâ about the harm you caused, you allowed your staff to consistently treat your members as scum, you didnât take appropriate action EVEN when members were reporting to you. You fostered that toxic environment by being ignorant. If you ever make a discord server again, you need some SERIOUS overhaul on it, that was not a safe space for anyone with complex needs. You and your staff did not follow your own rules and consistently used moderation powers to shut down topics that were completely harmless.
i was part of the paraphilic disorder discussion. there was also a "no transIDs" rule, but staff tend to bend rules to their liking, meaning neru was able to openly bring up using transIDs, and upon being told by other members (including me) that there are no "harmless" transIDs, neru promptly shut down the conversation despite also being the one asking how they were harmful in the first place.
another instance of rule bending had to do with nikki as well, where the rules defining what makes a rant were bent simply because nikki considered any negative emotion while talking a "vent". keep in mind, all the user had said before getting their rant deleted was a harmless joke about having a panic attack. there was no vent, and rules explained what was allowed in rant channels. multiple users (again, including me) told nikki about this not being the case because of rules already expanded upon by neru, but all it led to was rude behavior from it and ultimately ignoring anyone who pointed out that it was wrong.
many people did not feel safe in CAE. many people did not feel like they could properly rely on staff members.
keep in mind nikki still has not taken any form of accountability and had been relying on its friends the entire time to make excuses and defenses in its favor, to the point that the "no shipcourse" rule was essentially flipped on its head in order to make an argument for why nikki "isnt toxic" (despite telling someone to kill themselves, calling them a whore, and blaming a relapse on them) and making the rest of the announcement a clear profic stance on TCOAALL. again, despite the "no shipcourse" rule which would include TCOAALL for its incest.
ALSO regarding the ableism, i have witnessed people getting kicked over and over again simply because their tone wasnt savory enough, and i have personally seen a member get kicked because their response to a message was interpreted as rude even though the user had explained their side properly (not to mention the conversation that got them kicked didnt even involve the other people that took their tone the wrong way)
i dont really have much to say about anything else, but i will say that i kind of wish accountability could actually be taken and actual apologies could be given instead of "oh well its over whatever" (ESPECIALLY regarding nikki. there is only so much that "im jirai" can protect you from. and it is certainly not protecting you from accountability). ok thats all main point is im still very disappointed and i dont think a clean slate can erase how strange things were and how uncomfortable several people felt in that server especially if no apology is given
another heavy handed symbolism moment: my mom has a potted sunflower in the kitchen. because it is a sunflower, it keeps turning towards the light from the window. my mother keeps rotating it so it faces inward because she wants "to see its beautiful petals and have it really brighten up the space!" . the sunflower is visibly wilting .
