Hi, my name is Laurel, and I was broken. I say that I was because I am 110% better now. I conquered depression, and suicidal thoughts. And you ask how I got better? I found God. I love Him with all my soul and heart and mind, and I'm eternally grateful to Him for what He's done. I love you, I'm always here for you, if you have questions about my faith ask me, and remember: It has to get worse before it gets better!

Lately I've been feeling the pressure of not being in a relationship like everyone else. I want a relationship so bad, and have been having problems accepting God's timeline for this and not my own. I haven't had one relationship yet. But today, in worship, I gave it over completely to the Lord. I decided to be patient for this, because whoever He has for me is so much better than who I might end up dating without His guidance. So yeah, I'm still single. But I'm definitely a happy single.

Randall, during the first two weeks we knew each other I remember telling my momma that I felt happier than I think I have ever been. Well I think today tops that. I couldn’t have been more blessed in finding the right man. You have become my best friend and today I take you to be my partner in life. I know our story isn’t very traditional, but we have overcome all the odds and only managed to fall deeper in love. I know that the future will bring us many more challenges, but together we can survive them all. I promise to always support you, love you and be faithful thru any distance, deployment, and deer season. In the first letter you sent me right as you deployed you wrote that you knew we would be alright because we are both too stubborn to give up on us. While your stubborn, persistent side can drive me crazy sometimes it is also what made me fall in love with you and I know it will never change. I truly believe that God made us for each other. You are always calling me your angel, but in reality I think we are each others angels. We have become better people by being together and learning from each other. I am so excited to share my life with you and see how our story continues to unfold. I love you.
