Wait I’m genuinely curious as to why everyone suddenly loves Adam? Nothing against him but we don’t know much about him other than that…

1. Him and Shiro did have a good relationship when they were together.

2. He was slightly selfish in the sense that he didn’t want Shiro to pursue his dreams. This is assuming that he didn’t want Shiro gone on a mission for the last few years Shiro had to live.

If he gets more backstory/screen time then maybe we will learn more about him but why the sudden love for him?

Something that still breaks my heart is that Keith really did believe “Shiro” had killed thier team. And the way he says it too, like Keith no longer has anyone left to fight for, so he should just give up now–the paladins are gone. Keith probably would have assumed even his mother was dead too. And after they had just spent two years regaining the childhood Keith lost. For a long time the paladins were his found family, the only real family he had. And in that moment, he truly believes they–likely everyone on the castleship–were all ripped away from him.

And Keith hears Shiro’s cold admission of this as a blade sears its way into his skin. Black Paladin–what does that matter if all the other paladins are gone? For the brainwashed clone, he felt his words were strong enough to completely eviscerate every last shred of hope Keith had left. There’s an innate truth there, something that doesn’t escape “Shiro’s” notice even in a haze of bloodlust–Keith has always fought for the sake of others. And now all that’s left is Keith and a hollow shell of the person he loved, what does he have to fight for? Why just prolong his suffering?

It would have been easy, so easy, for Keith to hate Kuron after that revelation, after feeling the weight of his world come crashing down. But Keith never blamed Shiro, not for a moment. Even though he believed this version of Shiro had killed basically everyone else Keith cared about, he was still desperate to save him. Keith still sees this Shiro as someone worth fighting for, as the person he loves most in the universe. What would have happened if Pidge hadn’t had a plan, if the paladins had all perished? Because that was the reality Keith believed awaited him, and he still gave everything to save Shiro regardless.

Keith choosing to fall with Shiro wasn’t because his spirit was broken, it was because he was more determined to stay by Shiro’s side than he’s ever been. It’s acceptance of death–but in such a calm and leveled, determined matter–there’s nothing defeated about it. It’s an end on his own terms, together with Shiro. It feels like a victory. It feels like love and hope and everything Keith’s searched for in the stars. And of course, the real Shiro is right there to catch him when he falls. It’s…beautiful.

I don’t understand you, guys. “Shiro is an asshole, he’s fucking harsh, not-my-Shiro etc”. I just would like to say: “Wtf?” How can’t you understand that Shiro is, firstly, the human being and can be angry and dissapointed? Of course, it was not right to shout on Keith, but... please, try to accept Shiro’s human nature. You know, he wants to be a leader and it’s truly hard for him to accept his new role. It hurts that Shiro just can’t be a pilot of the Black Lion, he hates himself for this weakness - that’s a reason why he is so angry with Keith. You can say: “Then why Shiro didn’t try again?” Because he was scared of a failure. I believe that all of you are angry with your friends or relatives, wheт you feel bad and dissapointed. Like Shiro. Yes, I think, Shiro did a shit, but I can understand his reaction. And Keith could, because he knows Shiro. And what about you?

Just remember - he is a human, not an ideal man.
