i really want to draw a version of twilight where the theme is more like small town detectives,, because the dynamic of Edward as the doctors son and Bella as the sheriffs daughter had a lot of potential i swearrrrr 🙏🙏🙏 and they become friends and solve the strange occurrences around town

would the biggest mystery be the eventual reveal that edward is a vampire or would it be better if bella finds out earlier on ...?

Adding on to the nuclear waste headcannon, I also thought that there would be a reveal a little while into the show that ghouls keep “mysteriously” dying, which wouldn’t matter to Blakk since he’d just make more, but it would matter to the people who DID earnestly get their slugs ghouled for extra protection, causing them to lose their beloved slugs and forcing the slingers to keep buying more ghouls at extra cost (a la club slug vibes).

And it turns out that since dark water is just highly radioactive, ghouls just have radiation poisoning and keep dying from it, further leading to the instability of the slugs.

Because that’s what it felt like the lightwell episode was going to reveal. Not that Burpy had cancer or something, but that he was experiencing some sort of radiation sickness from constant ghoul exposure (esp since like….you can’t have the main character get like leukaemia in a kids show lol).

Idk, I just think more personal consequences to ghouling would’ve been more interesting because “cavern energy dying” is just REALLY abstract, the slugs themselves dying leading to the cavern energy dying felt like a better explanation on the whole
